He didnāt ādeceiveā anyone unless he told them the knife was made in the USA, and then went and had it made in China.Remember, this Rhodes Scholar still believes Jake's deception is all the Dealers' fault.
Remember, he has been speaking since around page 30 as though he was privy to the discussions that Jake had with all of his authorized dealers. So, we're the fools here, because he was in the room.
He sold Chinese goods that were required to be labeled as made in China and did not label them appropriately or disclose their COO. That's very clearly deception.
Being as this all literally just came to light, how do you know who is contacting who? You don't. Monday morning there's probably a litany of complaints to be filed with the ftc. Who knows what will shake loose from that.All these people talking about Hoback ābreaking the lawā, nobody calling the cops.

why do you feel the need to defend this person with so much energy? Do you feel that they did nothing wrong? Do you truly believe that they are the victim of lying dealers trying to shift the blame? Why did you feel compelled to tell everyone else (except for the resident troll) they are wrong, even though there are now more than 60 pages of people making more fun of you than of Hoback?I'm not defending Hoback. I agree with him when he says he should have worked harder to make sure that dealers weren't misrepresenting the COA of his knives. But I can't hold the dealers blameless when THEY and not Hoback claimed that the knives were made in the USA.I get why para is here, he will fight to the death over damn near anything and walk away with a smile, but why is 3D fighting so hard?
What about hoback never posting the truth on social media? Why didn't he do that? 5 years on dlt trading, he was silent.
Yes, so dumb. The changes they've made recently have nothing to do with whether or not Hoback ever told them that the knives were USA made. In fact the guy from USA Made Blades admitted that Hoback did NOT tell him the knives were USA made. He said he ASSUMED they were based upon things he heard on podcasts and on Youtube.
More blaming the dealer. Why weren't his knives labeled China like the law says they needed to be labeled?
Maybe they would know if hoback followed the law and labeled them?
Oh look, yet another post where there's zero mention of the fact that Jake allowed dealers to say his knives were American made for several years, so he could sell Chinese factory made knives at American custom knife prices.
