Who still carries a Case Knife?

Yes it does look like that, but it's actually Smooth Chestnut Bone, Randy.

Here's a view of the 2 blade Teardrop.

Decent pull and nice snap on this one, thanks - Will
That Teardrop looks stunning Will, I may have to look into one.;)

Thanks very much George. It's a well-made/finished knife and a nice unusual pattern. Nor was it expensive compared with its rivals.

Regards, Will

I have been carrying a case two blade pen knife with yellow delrin handles for 6 mos. now. Takes care of about 95% of my cutting chores. Love the carbon steel blades, and the nice patina,

New here - man, you guys have forgotten more than I'll ever learn ! . My first pocket knife was a Cub Scout knife made by Case in 1955. Since that time, I've carried a Case, of some variety, every day. The only times that one wasn't in my pocket was when I was in a hospital. In my feeble memory, I can't remember when there wasn't a medium Stockman in my RH pocket, and until a few weeks ago, it was a Stag. I gave it to my Grandson because he had never had a knife, and he was in love with my old Stag. Knowing I'll never be able to buy another Stag, it's replacement is a Amber Bone Stockman. Additionally, the LH pocket is home to a Amber Bone Sodbuster Jr, and the RH rear pocket houses a Buck 721 folder. Your depth of knowledge is impressive !

Last night, I was channel surfing and ended up on The Voice. I never watch this show, but for some reason stopped and watched it. A contestant who worked for TSA performed, and Blake Shelton mentioned he'd lost his favorite pocketknife at an airport to TSA, and I thought I heard him say it was a Case something-or-other. I hadn't been listening too carefully until I heard 'pocketknife' and 'Case'. He went on about it briefly, jokingly asking if the guy could get it back for him. I wish I'd heard it more clearly.

I still carry case knives I carried a sodbuster yesterday that has been beat to hell

I carry a Case pocket knife nearly every day - a chestnut bone or yellow delrin Peanut and the large Stockman in amber bone see more time in my pockets than anything else anymore.

On a normal day two of these are with me , the Nut & depending on the days activities one of the other yella's.

Since my last post about 3 months ago I have added a medium stockman and am now frequently carrying a Mini Trapper that previously got little use. I'm carrying the Mini Trapper more than the Texas Jack and the TJ more than the stockman. Peanuts and Sodbusters still get lots of pocket time. All my trappers fell out of favor for awhile when I went on a Jack kick but lately I have become reminded of the versatility of the trapper and have brought them back into my rotation.

I still carry the old ones, but, not this one, which I just recently acquired. This one looks better than my 64-69 redbone Peanut.

Case XX redbone Peanut, 1940-64 era, in pristine, mint condition ( looks to have never been cleaned nor sharpened ).

Pretty bone and nice picture Will.:)

One of these three finds it's way into my pocket fairly often.

Any of those three are very fine carry choices!!:)

Nice Gary, all three! This thread is killing me; going down to Fort Bragg today, gotta stop by my Platinum dealer this morning for a fix! OH

Thank you Primble! Can't get those 'donut' peaches anymore now, really sweet and juicy.

Unsurprisingly, your latest Redbone P-nut is getting acclaim. Such luscious colour, I wonder if it's possible it's sort of 'matured' with age being kept in the dark and unused, bit like fine Red wines! It's a spectacular piece of bone beauty, will it too get a bit of time in the Primble Showcase? Merits it.

All the best, Will

Possibly so Will - I have never seen another old red bone with the tint and richness of this one, however I have a few that come close.

The 1940-64 on top and my old 1965-69 below it.
