Who's excited for #47 Viper?!

I'm new to the GEC thing. Net search for an available #47 in sienna jig bone has come up zilch. Are they all gone?

Sure is a purty knife.

Nomo, I hope you'll find one, but they disappeared quite quickly! I discovered GEC and the Viper last month, and I managed to pick one of the last ones available I think. At least one of the last that could be sent to France, some dealers didn't offer that option.

So just a picture of my bocote Viper, it's such a perfect EDC!

Mine arrived on Friday, and I've been loving it every day since. This one is a contender for "favorite" status, for sure!

I found this thread and saw the original photo in Stag. This is my first post, to blame you guys for making me order one. New production starts next week.

Oh yes, I'm in on the new batch. Got two Northfields from the old batch (snagged while everyone else was distracted by TC Barlows - thank you Charlie!!!) and have two Tidioutes coming from the new batch.

I don't need four Vipers, but I also don't need my four Talons, so I'm hoping two wrongs will equal one great big "awwww yeah."

Wow, somehow I missed this, but that is a great looking Viper!

I just LOVE my Viper... It has become my favourite knife, and I like it so much that I almost regret that funds didn't allow me to take two of them in bocote, just to have a spare one! :D

I see on the GEC webpage 2014 production -all the charlows with details about handles and blades then at the bottom a lonely little #47 thats it no other words .
I'm gunna need to know what handle materials are being offered on these. The Viper is one of the best knives ever. And Ive got the scent of a Northfield version to go with my Tidioute. Possibly wood which has been calling to me of late.

Visitor message sent.

Where would one find the Tidioute #47 Viper in stock? Google doesn't bring up too much.

I'm afraid there is not a single one in stock, they've all sold out quite quickly. All you can do is wait for the next batch...! Sadly (or not, depends on what you're looking for!), they won't offer the same handle materials.

According to a dealer, the upcoming production schedule of #47 Vipers should include the following:

#47 Viper Tidioute Osage Orange Wood

Trev has posted the list, but if GEC does not have a list on their production schedule, we try and keep an up to date schedule as well.

Sweet it's coming back? I was just about to order a #92 wharncliff to substitute what I really want- a viper. I guess ill wait...

Mescladis, I just gotta say your bocote one looks AMAZING!
