I came up on the streets of south LA and it is just something everyone said. Its just part of my vernacular, I dont even realize I am saying it most of the time.

You do realize that were talking about when your typing right?

You don't just subconsciously type things.

You think them out before you type them.

Why Do People Say Lynn C. Thompson Is Controversial

Lots of people don't like him; I always thought it was because he told the truth about Mick Strider. I have some of their knives, and handled a bunch more. I think most of them are somewhat overpriced, some very much so.

ya cant honestly think that impresses me or anyone else, do you, now come on 'bro.......

FWIW i've lived and survived some awfully mean streets myself but i dont go on and on about it, nor try and impress folks because i have.

imho folks either dont believe ya, or simply dont care.

give all the gang crap a rest, when i was younger i did things and saw things ya probably wouldnt believe and knew some "OG's" but ya know what, every last one of 'em either grew up& got outta it, is dead, in prison, or a homeless dope fiend & or drunk bummin change on the corner.

its not exactly a lifestyle which enhances your chances of making anything of yourself, and once ya grow up ya will understand that but by the time most folks do understand it its a little late and ya are stuck in it when ya wish ya could get outta it, but ya have no other options by that point no one will hire ya for any decent job.

just a thought bro, just a thought.

which streets? i know that area pretty well.

Why, the mean streets of course.

And it is hard living on those streets.
They have no pity on a guy and they have no real names.

However, just a ways out is a place, a bar actually, where everyone knows
your name.

Have to admit, I did get a free Cold Steel video for my son quite a while ago.

He thought it was cool...

...but he was 9 or 10 at the time. :)

LA = Louisiana, not L.A.

i've kicked it on Greenleaf before. Do you know Greenleaf Blvd?

Made is look like you came from LOS ANGELES and not Louisiana.

I have never heard anyone refer to the "Mean Streets of LA" and not mean the REAL LA.

Are you really are a Mall Ninja Wannabe or just a tough guy from LA-LA land?

Maybe its' a typo and you grew up in LT land, son:rolleyes:

For a Physcian's Assistant do you write scripts for CII drugs and add son to them?

The definition of a PA allows you to practice medicine. Do folks call you Doctor?

not trying to impress anyone. I made some dumb choices in the past but picked myself and got out of that life and put myself and exwife through college. So I am proud of where I am now but I am not ashamed of where I came from. And I have not forgot where I came from.

I just recently finished my schooling and am working as a physician assistant to a nuclear medicine doctor. I will start my training in about a month to learn to read pet/ct scans.

Most of the going on and on about it was screwing with sharp phil. and some of it is just being goofy. but i am done.

I put on for my city.:D

hey not a prob, i can understand, i dropped outta high school myself and later went to college and such, too bad thats more the exception than the rule though,

Thumbs, why do you call men that are older than yourself, "son"?
Not trying to be rude, just wondering?
This one old guy up town used to call everyone, son. People became so annoyed they started saying it back to him. His nickname till the day he died was "son Taylor".:D

It's just slang of his generation (I'm just before his generation if it helps) and Son is no different than dude, bro, guy, bruh, brother, buddy, or folk. Guys a little younger than I all call each other son. "Yo what up son", "Know what I'm Sayin Son?"... It's just the way they talk.
