Why not sell a knife you have, ship the knife, insured ($5 or $10 for insurance on a $1000, come on)keep up with communication throughout, and call it a day?

Scamming isn't fruitful. Especially in the knife community. And nobody likes getting pumped for a week to come home to a low dollar knife in a sock(seriously?).

$1,000 isn't worth a bad rep and bad blood. Nor is $10,000 etc.....

Hate seeing this crap, so dishonest, so inexcusable, so unnecessary. Grade school morals go a long freaking way people.

It's a darn shame as i have had almost exclusively positive deals on here to this point and apparently got a little lax in my trust and assumed everyone on here is on the up and up, but that's just me... live and learn!

Omg haha sorry to laugh man but did the sock smell like cheese?? Haha this is the first time I heard about a sock!!!

I hope I never get a knife in a sock, kind of nasty.
I wish you luck, that is a gorgeous knife that you deserve. Worst case maybe split the difference?

Hope I'm wrong, but not insuring on an item that expensive, changing your # during a deal on an item that expensive, and leaving delivery up to a third party on an item that expensive smells like crap to me. Skyline in a sock is just the poop icing on a crap cake.

Nobody should feel bad about trusting other members, but members that prey on that tick me off to no end.

River rate I'm glad you assume I am at fault. I kept communication troughout. I was the one who sent the last email to sechip which he didn't respond. If could send1000 dollar refund which I could do no problem I'm not going to cry over a grand but the principle is I will be getting scammed. Pellel2 I'm your original post you stated I do not know what happened and will not post more regarding the transaction?

What do you care what he posts? I think you have enough on your plate right now without worrying about him. Just prove your innocence, and this will go away.

Post your shipping receipt.

Can you please tell me why all the while you were stringing me along that you insisted you had "no problem" refunding me once you found out from your brother what had actually happened.
How come you convienently do not answer any questions about your brothers "supposed' involvement?

Yank has 81 posts, and 2 positive feedback, none in the last 12 months.

What on earth made you think that sending this guy a money order for $1000 was a smart thing?

Not saying you deserved to get taken, but for goodness sake use some wisdom in your decision making process!

Yank, no one cares about your 80 or 90 transactions outside of BFC, so stop with it and give the man his knife.

Man this is bad . Why why why send a knife first class not insured . Because it's a skyline dhaaaaa.

I'd make a crappy judge. I apologize. Stuff just doesn't add up.

What's up with the skyline?
Why would you not insure?($1,000 may not be much to you, but I assure you that's a sum that can do a lot for most people)
Why would you not take the package to the post yourself?

Even if you are not trying to pull something those are a lot of errors in a transaction, especially with someone you don't know from Adam.

But isn't it that MO is safer than PP because technically it is a federal punishment if you mess around with it? We don't have MO in Canada so I am speaking from what I have heard here. MO just looks like cash to me and I would never deal with it, although I was sent once an international MO even my bank didn't know what to do up here

Nothing spells stupidity like a skyline in a sock....

Insurance protects the buyer more than the seller. Any shipment in excess of $50 should always ship priority mail, tracked and insured at the sellers expense. A seller should not have to be told to purchase insurance. A seller should care enough about his transaction, customer and his own reputation to automatically include it in the sale.

There needs to be less bickering and argument in this thread and more effort put into resolving the problem.... before mods need to look into and take care of the matter.

Which i ALWAYS do.

He also told me in a pm that i have that he shipped my SNG in a sock inside a maxpedition case which also contradicts his sale thread that states knife will ship in a MSC case.

We actually do have money orders here, and I have used them multiple times. Very easy to get and use.

Yanks, could you please elaborate why your phone number changed for work? I don't mean to be nosy, but having a solid work contact is crucial. Perhaps more crucial than your personal contact. I don't care if you're a hot shot banker or a pizza parlor. When it is eleven thirty at night and I'm starving, the last thing I want is to call my local pizza place and hear "do do deep, the phone number you are trying to dial has been disconnected"...Of all the things you've said so far, I find that the most unsettling.
