Schrade Walden, Camillus Buck, Forgecraft, Boker USA.
The Boker was $10.
The Buck's springs are crusted with rust inside and outside.
The other two were pretty dirty, too.

I don't suppose Buck could replace those Camillus springs now.

I want to say it is from the 1920's to 1940's by tang stamp.
Very nice.
Thanks, but I am familiar with Case’s tang stamp dating system, but that is about all I know about this knife. Any ideas what model it is or any other info?

I call it a sheepsfoot but the description calls it a Wharncliffe.

Sweeeet filework on the spring and blade. Coined liners. Awesome.

It was listed as a Barlow, I assume because of the bolsters, but this sway forward pattern really drew me in. It's aggressive.... ready to dig in.

Couldn't be more thrilled with it!

RickHuf RickHuf that's a decent looking arrival  I've been very pleased with my Camelbone from Ashley Harrison, great finish but the pull was monster with little snap. After flushing/ oiling etc still murder, then found some grinding paste and got that in the pivot, a mess but real difference, it now has 'talk'

Thanks, Will

This arrived over the week-end CASE 18 in Redbone and CV- mega gratitude to Leslie Tomville Leslie Tomville for making this happen. Got to work on patination immediately with fruits, still a WIP as a 3 blade takes some covering. Don't let anybody start whining about CASE edges out of the box :D squeals of pain maybe! As I was cleaning it up the Sheepfoot saw its chance and pinned me to the liner, a bloodybusines aargh!

Thanks Will!

My first one, a large lambsfoot, was as you describe. It took about a week of light sanding on the tang, opening and closing it repeatedly and flushing. Then some white grease and now it is a hard pull but nice and smooth. Good and firm lockup for a large knife!

This new sheepsfoot needed cleaned out, worked and oiled but the pull is light. It was really surprising. I expected another bear trap but would compare the pull with the case knives I've purchased. Just strong enough to hold it in place. Opposite end of the spectrum.
