Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Your 'Schrade' 175 is a a Schrade in name only. Not made by Schrade. Made post 2004 by an offshore company contacted by Taylor Brands. This does not make it a 'bad' knife but Schrade collectibles are the ones made in USA by Imperial Schrade, Schrade-Walden, and Schrade Cutlery Co.

Arriving today:

Next week I will be paying the final amt on a damascus Case Tony Bose Tribal Spear with some really scales. I will also be making the final payment on my Zulu order with Dr Taber. After that, I agreed to purchase a Lloyd LC. I am still planning on getting a Hudson Bay 2 from Bark River.

I need to stop buying knives.

Smithhammer, that's just another beautiful Behring T&B, and I really like the little tooling on the sheath!

I have to feed my stockman "jones" every now and then (too often, really!), and this gorgeous 2nd Generation (~1990) Bulldog premium stockman just arrived. Lovely matched stag the equal of GEC's "Genuine Stag" with nice 5-6 strength match strike pulls, proud domed pins, 3.96" closed length, good carbon steel and a very nice reverse frosted "QUARTER HORSEMAN" etch. I believe these were made for the Bulldog brand by Olbertz, as it has the same manufacturing cues as my '80s era Fight'n Roosters. Only 36 of these were made. The mark side head bolster is slightly tarnished, otherwise absolutely mint condition.

Thanks, Rodeo. It's bold and colorful, but not too thick for a large knife. 0.66" at the thickest point.

A tiny bit of Flitz and a q-tip would remove that tarnish easily. That stag is niceee

Thanks fellas. I put a little white rouge on the buffing wheel and ever so lightly polished up that tarnished bolster . . . and then the other three to match.

Now it looks brand new, all the way around. :D

Just came back home to these three in the post. A Viper47 in beautiful osage orange, a Battle Horse Knives North River, absolutely perfect for pocket carry. Lastly, my Northfield 56 in ebony wood came back to me. It used to be #23 of 25 but now it's #1 of 1 with an EO mod from a forums member. Who also gifted me that lovely leather pocket slip. I can't explain the gratitude I have for those in the forum and will do a reveal and review soon.

Nice haul, Tim. The more I see those Osage orange covers, the more I like them. This is not good.
