Just arrived today! The fit and finish is excellent. No gaps, the blade is centered and very sharp out of the box. For around $70 I’m not surprised they are sold out at all dealers. Buy one if you can find one, you won’t be disappointed.

They dropped here on Friday, sold out straight away. I've a camo carbon arriving today. Although I can't have it yet, Christmas gift from the wife.

I had a feeling this pattern would be a winner for JW, and while I like it quite a bit, I’m a little surprised by the über roundness of that spear point. Personally, I prefer a bit more pokiness… I’m sure that’s the clinical term.

I was very tempted to pick one up, but in the end it was the bizarre shape of the spear point that made me pass. I considered getting one and taking a file to it, but decided not to.

I wish there were more options for a moderately-priced equal end jack out there.

Thank you very much Will . Our children are all Grand Parents now and are , for the most part , having their own family gatherings at their places . Therefore we will be having fun , but not as much fun as we used to have . Take care my friend .

And i must say delivery was fantastic 2 weeks with US Postal Service and full tracking with regular updates. Not long ago there was no mail between the USA and here. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.

Fell out of our mailbox yesterday afternoon. Another XR Crossroads Sod Buster Jr. - this one dressed in Orange Canvas Laminate with Blue G-10 Liners. The edges are evenly ground side to side and sharp. The edges are coarse not smooth and polished but that is how I prefer my knives edges to be. Provides a bit of grip that way. I seldom use a finishing stone or rod on my knives. The closed and open joints are flush and the overall fit and finish on this knife is excellent. I currently have eleven of these XR Crossroads Sod Buster Jr. knives and all are a-one, first rate, knives. The S35VN blades are just icing on the cake for these knives - holds an edge with frequent use and sharpens easily - the only steel I've found to hold a sharper edge than my first wife's tongue.
