Those are great small knives:thumbup:

Here's two which arrived this week but Photobucket's fits have prevented me from showing them.

Schatt & Morgan Gents' stag Mini Barlow. It is really small at 6.5 cm/2.6" but it is certainly still a meaningful knife. Yu get a good long blade, half-stop, very nice fat Stag handles that help you to get a grip, blade not centre but OK and nowhere near rubbing, fantastic snap which surprised me and fine W&T. The plle side stag is nice and grooved. Negatives? Well all too often the case with US knives I have to say, it had NO edge whatsoever, totally blunt and needed a lot of work even if it's only 420 stainless. I just can't understand it, I've yet to have a blunt new knife from any other country: Japan, Taiwan, China,Russia, Finland, Sweden, France,Germany,Italy, Switzerland, Spain. Certainly they probably do exist. Why so often US makers seem to feel it's an optional extra to sharpen their knives or even edge them is beyond me??:barf: It is a very nicely made small knife however, something different and now passably sharp. It cost 10 X what the next one cost though....

Rough Rider Tiny Barlow in Smooth White Bone. 7.25 cm/2.9" Doesn't sound much bigger but it makes a lot of difference. Blade not centre but again it's OK as no rubbing at all. No half-stop, very smooth W&T and also grand snap, match strike pull is nice too. The pile side's bone shows some black pores but this will lead to good darkening potential. Both knives display tiny amount of gap between handle and brass liner, very minor though. No blade-play. The knife arrived impressively sharp and a few strokes on ceramic polished it to excellent sharpness, nice thin edge grind that's even. Whatever RR's 440 stainless is it's far superior to anything from CASE or Schatt and it arrives for immediate use i.e. will shave arm hair with no problem.

I can recommend both of them.

Picked up this copper K'roo on the exchange, and it went straight into my Carhartt work coat pocket with it's copper brothers.

Hey Tom! Those knives look strangely familiar! :) Nice haul! Renee and I just got back home.

I picked up this 2016 Queen Railsplitter in Blue Bone from Ryan Daniels. This is cow bone, not camel bone in case anyone is wondering. Had a very pleasant chat with Ryan. Found out some great news about a change in the 2016 and future models. I hope Ryan doesn't mind me spilling the beans, so to speak. From here on out all Queen shields will be pinned. No more glued shields from now on regardless of the knife or covers. If it has a shield, it's pinned. This includes all 2016 and later knives. Excellent news! Bravo Queen!

Oh yeah, here's my new Railsplitter.

Thought you might recognize those Rick ;). I had a nice chat with Ryan as well, it was great to get some insight into what is going on at Queen. He was very forthcoming with information and I am excited to see their products this year. That Railsplitter was super nice in my person, looks great here on the forums .

Sabre Melon Tester Knife: This is in rougher shape than I thought it would be. I'm going to work on polishing and profiling the blade - if I can get it decent I will consider sending it out for new inlays. I messed around with the bolster on the left a little and it looks better than the one on the right.

I got this Ebony Presidential in on Saturday. It will be taking turns with the Burgundy as an EDC.
