British Navy Jack Knife

Got this off the exchange....really liking it. I wasn't sure if I would like the liner lock...but I find it to be much less intrusive than I first thought, and it does make for a very solid blade.

This is one of my newer knives. I love the design, color, proportion and overall aesthetics. Sorry about the photobucket rotation issue.

I actually began preferring the lock. They're non intrusive, giving an even more sure grip and brings additional safety. Nice knife, Bones13.

Picked this up a short while ago and posted it in another thread. I like it so much for it's stout ergonomics I thought I'd show it here as well.

I just picked this one up for a very reasonable price, but know little about these Remingtons. 1995 made, pattern #R1273, round Remington UMC stamp. Anyone know what the steel is? Looks stainless, but what were they using then, and who built it for them? I appreciate in advance any info supplied.

D2 is some great stuff and that micarta sets it off.
Not satisfied with the photos I took today (doesn't do the knife justice) but here is the newest addition.

Your game is right on Tim. You hinted on Bose knife a few days ago and wondered which frame it would be. Congrats that coffin jack is a looker. What's the closed length?

Good grief Tim! Your hoard of cutlery is wonderful my friend. This one should fit in splendid with the Dowells.

Haha thank you Brett :) Some Dowell pieces may have left :O Well just one really but Bret is still my absolute favourite maker.

Haha yeah I thought this one was a nice fit. The thickness of the frame with 2 blades makes it nice in hand. It's 3.5" closed, here's a comparison photo I posted in What are you Totin' today alongside a TC Spear.
