Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

These all arrived this week...

I should probably take some time off from buying knives so I don't get in trouble with the wife.

At least a week... :D

I really like your shot of the 85, that's an exceptionally framed photo.

Nothing special, but I picked up a few of these little Rough Riders to try out. 2 little Barlows and a mini Canoe. They're no GEC's but for under $10 each, it's hard to say you didn't get your money's worth.

Got the same White Bone (rapidly taking on a nice yellow colour:thumbup: ) Barlow, a very satisfying little knife, well turned out. The Mini Canoe /Butterbean must be a new model, not seen it before.

Thanks, Will

Mini score today for $25 total:

Elinox secretary in Great shape
And a Camillus 1760 from 1978 in Little wear aside from the awl. Seems to have been owned by someone with the initials "W.E." going by the stamping on the scales.

WhoEver owned it prior to me, I know that WE will at least have company!

I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread for over a month, since I really enjoy seeing what folks are adding to their collections.
No way I'll try to catch up with everything I missed, but I'll go back to the start of the previous page as an arbitrary starting point.

Quite a pack of Coyotes prowling about the thread!;) Congrats, Barrett & Wurrwulf & bozack!

And congrats to Barrett, btmac, bozack, and traumkommode on picking up splendid new 85s!

Dandy Beer Scout, too, Barrett! Maybe you SHOULD decelerate your acquisitions for awhile, in the interest of marital harmony!

Picked up this Remington Daddy Barlow Musket knife for a mere $20.

Very cool find, Flickertail! The cost per inch for that big Barlow is remarkably low! ;)

Sweet RR trio, Flickertail! I have quite a few RR canoes and several RRs in amber jigged bone, but I hadn't seen an amber jigged bone mini-canoe until this; thanks for letting me know what I'm missing!

This was a bit over $20 but I've wanted a Beaver Tail since the first time I saw them and the #48 Improved Trapper was the perfect platform to scratch that itch.

Glad you could scratch that long-time itch, jerryd! I've always been drawn to the knives that have animal pictures on them; maybe I need to start a new "subcollection".

Hey guys! Long time lurker here, figured I should finally start participating.

Also picked up an old rusty Camillus TL-29 at the flea market, modified the screwdriver blade and added some 'jigging' to the scales. I love the snappy backsprings on this one.

Thanks! This was practice before I tried it on my Case Soddie. This one turned out better imo.

Excellent mods, solphilos! The blade mod on the Camillus looks like it will be very useful, and the DIY jigging on both the TL-29 and the Sodbuster is incredible!:thumbup:

Wow, I'd call it a major score, NJ Bill; congrats! The demo knife is very cool, and that Alox Elinox is wondrous!

My first Fight'n Rooster.
Congrats, GM! That Rooster is eye-catching and exceptional!

These ebonies just in!

That's a dandy dark duo, A.L.; congratulations! I especially like the big 2-blade toothpick (or Powderhorn, or whatever GEC calls it); I have an old 2-blade shell-handled Imperial toothpick similar to what my grandpa used to carry, so that pattern is a favorite for me. ;)

Well, as long as you asked, I guess I can sneak some pics of the Imperial toothpick in here, even those it's nowhere near a new addition. ;)

Here's the toothpick on vacation last summer:

Here it is in my "knife photo studio" on the patio outside the back door:

Here's the first pic I took of it, soon after opening a package from a BF member who sent it to me as a surprise gift (thanks, Dave!). I couldn't believe the deja vu I experienced as I opened it up and realized it was just like grandpa's knife that I hadn't seen in at least 50 years. (I later showed it to one of my brothers, without comment, and he said, "How'd you get Grandpa's old jackknife?)

Not nearly as nice a knife as your Powderhorn, A.L., but if you offered, I wouldn't trade with you! :D

I just received this one today. I bought it from an excellent gentleman here on Blade Forums. I sharpened it to 20DPS on the Wicked Edge and it took a nice edge. Some pics, one with a large Sebenza for size comparison.

Flicker, you're on your way to gathering quite a nice collection! Keep up the good work

Posted this in the 73/23/72 thread but this is my newest acquisition. Been moving some stuff around recently and have a blackwood coyote as well as a blackwood Wallstreet on the way (from the trader here)

A while back I bought my boss one of the 2007 "Free and accepted Masons" knife and it pained me to give it away... Then I saw this one pop up! Same stainless blades without the masonic etches, same covers with sawcut of interlocking semi circles! And it's serial #1 of only 7 made! Jackpot! The drop point has the tiniest bit of side to side play that should be very easy to remedy. This one will be a great user.
