Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Slimline trapper.

Got some Fiorella's Jack Stack BBQ on the way back from the hardware store and forgot this was CV not stainless. So it got some staining within an hour of unboxing, but I'll just call it character marks.

Photo is from today, 3 days after the BBQ Pork and Sausage incident.

Fixed it for you. Real cool knife combo regardless of them being the color of the bad guys. :D

Them Philly cheesesteaks still play pro baseball? Haven't heard about them in a coon's age. :D :D :D

That Case CV patinas in the most wonderful ways. When I started EDC my big #75 stockman I became noticeably more lax in wiping down my knife after eating, cutting stuff that left juice or other "staining agents" on the blade, etc. I love watching chemistry come to life.

Picked up this sweet user off the Exchange , solid knife Great walk and talk and the ebony !! love the GEC #77

Thats a pig sticker right there !!

Its not as big as it might look:
Blackjack 125 Specifications
Overall Length: 9.5"
Blade Length: 5"
Steel: A-2 Tool Steel @ 58 RC
Blade Thickness: 0.215"
Weight: 7.5 oz.
Made in USA

But it is a heavier duty hunting knife with a convex grind. It does feel good in the hand and comes with a decent sheath.

what a nice surprise for this rainy day, cant wait to mod this. just need to practice on that bear mgc razor first!

Were ya shakin' so much with excitement that you couldn'a held the camera still? :p :D

That's one beautiful BlackJack, sir!

Yeah, my photography skills are lacking, and doing them on the cell phone, they look better until I go back and see them on a laptop!:confused:

Thanks, I am pretty happy with the knife, can't wait to try it out this fall.

Three old Schrade USA hunting knives I picked up this past week; they range from NOS to well used. OH

I got smothered in Ebony with yesterday's mail call. The top two (#15 and #68) were recovers. The #15 had some tired thin bone and the Pony Jack had Nifebrite Acrylic (not a fan).
The bottom one is a new prized piece for my collection. A fine gift from a friend hat I've been searching for quite some time to add. #66 Teamsters Jack, a Charlie Campagna HJ6. Sweet!!!!!

Super sweet pieces, Bob! I feel like dressing up for a fine dining experience in black tie:D the HJ6 is a prize indeed!!

Bob, I'm trying my best not to be jealous... you're not making it easy. :o I too have a sweet tooth for ebony.
The only way to get through this is to keep telling myself...be happy for Bob...be happy for Bob...be happy for Bob. :)

Lately I've been getting into single blades and that 15 looks perfect. Thanks for rescuing the pony jack from it's Nifebrite fate, ya did good there and finally, how did you score the HJ6 in ebony I couldn't find one when they were new?!!!

Seriously Bob, those are great, enjoy.:thumbup: ...be happy for Bob...be happy for Bob...be happy for Bob :)

Hahaha. Thanks James. I had searched quite a long time for the Teamsters Jack. The closest I could come was one every now and then in Tomato Acrylic. I seriously thought about getting one of those several times only to have it re covered. But I never pulled the trigger on one. Then I recently found a friend that had one sitting in a safe since new. I asked him if he would ever consider selling it expressing my interest if he did. He ended up gifting it to me. Super happy. :D
I've already tweaked the wood covers on the 15 as I wanted the sides chamfered somewhat like the TC Barlows. Mission accomplished. ;)
