Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Here are the results for those following my "help me pick a case knife" thread. I couldn't pick so I got the blue sway back jack for a great deal on special and I got the orange smooth persimmon mini copper lock because I really wanted it.

Both met my desire for something that pops. The blue was much brighter than the example I had seen online.

Man, I'm really digging both of those covers! Excellent pick up!

Mets colors. :o :D

Beautiful SBJ. I don't think I've seen too many with two bolsters. My only one is barehead, like most of the SBJs I've window-shopped. Good find!

I almost forgot about this guy sent to me by a friend in Spain that I exchange shaving stuff with. He knows the maker. It's just friction operated, no lock. But it's a pretty thing.

Sure is. Some of those Spanish friction folders are beautiful in ways that belie the frugality of the knife. You seem to have gotten a particularly pretty one.

My first ever GEC! And I am loving it. The stag shows great character. And it's a perfect backup blade to my Chris Reeve Small Insingo!

As a birthday present, my wife bought for me a Case Medium Stockman in Green Curly Maple. I had been eyeing up the Green Curly Maple series for at least a month, and my wonderful wife found a beautiful example for me.

Nice, The ones I saw in person didn't have that bright pop of colors yours does and the figuring in the grain is especially nice on yours as well.

I'll be honest, the camera makes it pop a bit more than the naked eye sees. It still looks nice, though.

Congrats, both are great knives! It'd be the perfect combo for a NY Mets fan (like myself)!

While I'm here, might as well post my newest, which arrived yesterday. It's my first Case peanut. I had to go chestnut bone/CV to complement my Sodbuster Jr. and swayback jack. I'm loving it! I asked the vendor, our own Collector Knives, to find me one that's a little lighter in color than most chestnuts, and maybe the photo doesn't capture that but I think Mike came through on it.

Almost exactly a year after I got into traditionals, I'm trying out my first Peanut (a 2015 Case in yellow Delrin).

So far, I love it. I've always heard that there's just something about that yeller, and there is. I've got big hands, but it fits right in and feels quite comfortable; I get a solid three-finger grip.

Another nice looking peanut!! Love the yellow!

A yeller Peanut was my second choice, of course. I'll probably end up with one someday anyway. I kind of like Delrin.
