Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Very nice

A great day today, a Peña gunstock arrived in the mail and is the finest knife I have ever had the honor of holding. Also, the best magazine in the business showed up today with the boat I built on the cover! So I'm in a pretty good mood now.

Thanks David! The knife is about as good as it gets for my taste. The boat is alright, too

Fine enough knife alright, but to be able to have the skill & vision to build a beautiful yacht like that...well that's deeply impressive and will be appreciated for decades to come. Rare, for whose work is appreciated beyond days, if at all? Congratulations.:thumbup:

Just out of the mail box a half hour ago, a Stag KA-BAR-LO:thumbup: I put a razor edge on it and will ride for the day:cool:
Thin stainless blades, nice Stag covers that are thick but not overly thick...fills the hand nicely. No play whatsoever. I like it:)

Sweet stag on a beautiful Barlow, Paul! That thing screams "Queen build" to me, but I can't find anything to confirm or deny aside from comparing your pics and bozack's to my smallish collection of #69s.

Orange peel bone Case Peanut with factory bail.

Nickname confirmed. :D

My most recent acquisition, a Case Brothers baby doc in antique bone (pictured next to Mac, my trusty #75). I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a) I really like the baby doc, possibly moreso than the full-size ones, and b) the handles are pretty close to all my modern amber bone Cases. I also have an #032 stockman in the same antique bone that might look good next to the baby doc as a Notable Pair.

I've got a few others I've picked up since my last post in this thread but life hasn't been too kind with the leisure time. Maybe this weekend I'll round up the latest additions and create some more content. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Well I just got in to traditionals like 3 weeks ago so they're all new.

Started with case slimline trapper I picked up on a whim, which lead to a Queen large stockman, which lead to a bunch of GECs.

#18 brown camel
#18 yellow camel
#83 purple jig bone
#81 stockman red river acrylic
#47 viper black linen micarta
#65 green camel bone
Queen large stockman feather buffalo horn

I find I'm very taken with this pattern. Another arrived from across the sea;

Thanks again Dean,

Paul

Paul and Shawn, nice acquisitions!!! that Lick Creek seemed to arrive fairly quick?

TsarBomba, thanks for the compliment on the Stag Barlow. I think your right being a queen build:thumbup:

Is it a newest addition of I made it? If so... 3/16" Chad Nichols stainless raindrop damascus with desert ironwood scales and stainless mosaic pins.

I think you may have just convinced me to seek out another camel bone knife. I wasn't the biggest fan of the yellow when I first saw it but I'm starting to see the appeal. :o

That's one stylish hunk of Damascus and ironwood, CM. Awesome work!

Latest to the pack, the OD green linen micarta #18 Coyote (it's the little one :D).

Wow that's a great start [emoji106] [emoji41]

Here are the results for those following my "help me pick a case knife" thread. I couldn't pick so I got the blue sway back jack for a great deal on special and I got the orange smooth persimmon mini copper lock because I really wanted it.

Both met my desire for something that pops. The blue was much brighter than the example I had seen online.

Great choices! Those colors absolutely pop.

I almost forgot about this guy sent to me by a friend in Spain that I exchange shaving stuff with. He knows the maker. It's just friction operated, no lock. But it's a pretty thing.
