Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I know this may fall into the novelty category but it's one I wanted for a long time. So, when I had a chance at a reasonable price I jumped. The thing to know is that AG Russell puts his heart and soul into every knife that carries his name. In fact this one is a home run just as a pocket knife. It looks and feels as if it was cut out of a single block of steel. The mirror polished blades are insane. It is smooth opening without a half stop and snaps shut with authority. It's stainless and made in Germany. I just may carry it, it's so well made.

Thanks, Lance & Paul. :)

In the dictionary there is a definition for the word 'funky'. I think this says it better. ...

Congrats, Alan, on a couple of very desirable knives!:thumbsup::cool: I've seen those wire-frame Schrades before, but don't know anything about them other than their uniqueness (funkiness? ;)) appeals to me. I've never seen that AG Russell bicentennial knife before, but the metal-handled knives with "bas relief scenes" also catch my fancy.

These two fantastic A.G. Russell knives arrived today. Fit & finish and overall quality are top notch. Very impressed as I've always been with Mr. Russell's knives. The pictures don't do them much justice. They just scream quality when I hold them in my hand.

They both totally rock but the 3 5/8" Gunstock is my favorite.

Here's a knife my wife gave me for Christmas 2017; I should have posted it here months ago! :(
I'm quite sure that, although it's "from" my wife, our daughter who spent the past 6 years in Spain actually bought it for her in Toledo, Spain. And, although she bought it in the workshop of a famous Spanish knife/sword maker, after being alerted to Spanish knife marketing customs by a BF member from Spain, I searched the internet a bit and am quite sure the knife is actually a production knife made by Salamandra, model 10012. Really like this knife and its European-style stag.
