Thanks, Paul. :) You are amassing quite a bunch of smooth yellow bone, aren't you?? Great way to bring an end to a long winter!!:cool::D

This has been a great week for finding knives on my wish list. The Schrade wire jack, the AG Russell bicentennial knife, and now the Case 21051 LSSP (thanks Dirk).

Congrats on your recent successful roll of picking up intriguing knives, Alan!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: This is another one that's totally new to me. Can you say a little more about it? Is "LSSP" an acronym? Is it related to your gum fuddy buddies? It reminds me a little of the Tribal Locks that have caught my eye lately! Speaking of which, ...

Hit the Case outlet in Branson yesterday, brought home this Tribal Lock. Really liking it so far, they did a great job on these. Probably my favorite newer Case Ive had.View attachment 878656
I don't have access to a big-time Case outlet, but after hearing your testimonial, Rob, I'm gonna have to go online and get one of those! ;) Congrats on your newest addition!!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I've been posting knives in this thread that I've actually had for a while but had neglected to post here earlier. But tonight I'll post my newest addition, literally, that I got Thursday. It's a 4" red jigged bone carbon steel Böker stockman that I won in a recent Will Power Will Power GAW - thanks for the ravishing knife, Will!:cool::thumbsup:

The Case is a great pattern Gary. It's 21051 LSSP. 2 being the handle material, 1 the number of blades, 0 the blade shape and 51 is the pattern number. LSSP is lockback stainless steel polished.

Thanks Gary, I have sought out yellow handled knives without really realizing how many of late I have actually acquired:eek:

Very nice red bone Boker my friend, have a very nice Easter with family and friends:thumbsup:

Just got home today from 7 days of skiing and snowboarding at Crested Butte. This one was waiting in the mail for me. I just finished up forcing a patina, stropping and lubing it. Love those checkered bone covers!

Great patina. Looks ready for work. Back in another life, (90 thru 93) I lived and worked in CB. Some of best years of my life. I have the dubious distinction of being the first person to snowboard off the summit of the mountain.

Very cool. I'm nearly 42 and I still ride pretty hard but had there been enough snow this year I'm pretty sure I'd have shied away from those runs! The mountain offered a lot of fun though and the town was fantastic. We're already discussing a summer trip for hiking and fishing.

WOW Harry!!! you certainly have a knack for Stag my friend:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

A Barlow day today as a re-covered Camillus 51 arrived along with a CASE XX circa 1940-1964 red sawcut bone Barlow. Very pleased with both. Both have full and SOLID blades and both covers are nice in their own way:thumbsup:

Thanks for the very kind words Paul !!!! It is pretty nice to have my pictures followed way some very nice pictures of very fine Barlows . I firmly believe , and others will disagree , that there is no better made 60's thru 90's Barlows than a Camillus and somebody has put some great covers on that one . Of course the Case XX just speaks for itself . Can you say who put the new covers on ???

Paul, I really like that Camillus.

Just received this today, and after a moment during which I appreciated the sense of great satisfaction with which it imbued me, I put it straight into my pocket.

Thank you Harry, I agree that Camillus made a great Barlow, I don't know who recovered the Camillus though, I bought it of the auction site.
