Now THERE is a great walk back from the mailbox!!! That would pick my pace up back to the house. Could you please tell me who made the Rigid knives?

Lb, I'm pretty sure they were made by Camillus (1997 on this one). Mine is absolutely pristine new in the box, and has great F&F and W&T, with 6 pulls on all blades.

Earlier Rigid knives were made in Solingen, Germany (late '80s to early '90s), and then later, after Camillus closed in 2006, Rigid knives were made by Canal Street, I believe.

From the Exchange. After the transaction and before delivery today, I looked up Giraffe, and saw that they were an endangered species. I felt massive guilt. I felt way better after contacting KSF. They assured me that it was harvested and not hunted.

what was their assurance? Do they come from diseased giraffe's from our local zoo's? Either way we up the demand and price for Giraffe bone by buying these knives. Poor poachers rather Giraffes be endangered than their families. I would like to see if someone could DNA test a Mammoth bone knife....confirm its not an endangered elephant. I own a giraffe bone little bay and use the hell out of it just in case a giraffe did lose its life for my tool. Trying to make that Giraffe proud :D

I love everything about that #47. Its certainly on my radar now:) Really like the squirrel branding and acorn shield too!

I also got 3 in today (in 2 boxes)!
0725181837a-1.jpgThe Vic was because i wanted an alox again and will come in handy for work.
And the other 2 because i wanted to see the difference between GEC's 'beater' and 'fancier' offerings (and because they appealed to me of course). Must say, there certainly is a notable difference.

A lot of new beauties today. Nice haul Jeff, but the viper is the prize in my eyes. Such nice lines.

Nice find, especially since it has been quite a while since GEC has released any pocketknife with an Acorn shield.

This arrived today. I’m in love with this jigging.

I just found one also and it is a lot more practical than I thought. The diamond shield is really cool.

That giraffe makes me jealous. I think I'll search for one, lol.
My latest addition was in the mailbox today!
What a sweet little knife.

The Northfield stamp on the bail is a nice little touch.
