Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

This Case CV 6375 Amber Sawcut Bone Large Stockman came in yesterday from Mike at Collector Knives. It is well put together with no cracks, chips, or gaps to the naked eye. There is no shield on this one. It is etched, on the mark side, with the name Case on the cover at the upper bolster and U.S.A. at the lower bolster/end cap. Further, the sawcut feature is interesting in that the direction of the cut on the mark side cover is from the top at the well to the center pin while on the pile side, the direction of the cut is from the upper bolster to the lower bolster/end cap.

All in all, a pretty good haul from Mike at Collector Knives - Three Large 6375 Stockman knives.

You ever get one of those knives that makes you think "well, I can go ahead and thin the heard now. Won't be needing most of the other knives in this drawer anymore"?
Well I got one yesterday. This started life as a fine example of a GEC #35 Northfield in Hummingbird Acrylic.
Thanks to @glenbad it is now the knife GEC should have, but so far have not, built.
Re-scaled in Amber Richmond Jigged Bone with a 'Double Take' shield.

That is a little different, but makes for a good conversation piece. Looks like a good knife.

This one just arrived from skblades skblades . It has great f&f with solid lockup. I’m very happy with this one. :D
I don't have a fancy version like that but I really like the 501. I end up carrying it way more than I thought I would. I like the micarta is that a different steel too?

I just received this beautiful, near mint, Western 640 trailing point from the late 1970s. Just the slightest staining on the blade, and the sheath looks brand new. 8⅛" OAL, with jigged Delrin covers and 1095 CroVan steel.

That is a beautiful fixed blade Jeff, congrats!

This 1986 Bulldog Tobacco Barlow arrived yesterday. I haven't been this impressed with a knife in a long time. Solid, centered blades, cool etch, great smooth radius dark green bone covers, fantastic tobacco bolsters and matchstrike pulls:thumbsup: A big THANK YOU to Jeff ( Black Mamba) for in depth history of the Bulldog brand:thumbsup:
