Good to know. I assuming you are referring to the latest 14’s?

The early run of 14’s all had excellent walk and talk with strong pulls and great snap when opening and closing.

Finally got around to opening the package on this wonderful example . Received it a few days ago but was saving the best for last ;) and I’ve been pretty busy 🤪
BRK Bravo 1 LT Elk ,MagnaCut ,Turquoise Spacer, Red liner and Mosaic pins . Had to get one to go with my Elk fire stick lol . I searched long and hard and found this one.

Really cool looking Craftsman! What’s the deal with the bail(?) there? I’ve never seen one like that.

These were my last two new knives of 2022. The Schrade Scrimshaw was a Christmas present (which I may or may not have picked out myself). Unsharpened with box, papers and sheath. I think I know what knife I’ll be carrying on Thanksgiving from now on. 😁

We were out of town for Christmas, and the estimated delivery of my 2022 BF Bunny Knife was the day after we left, so it had to hang out with our held mail at the post office until the 31st.

My first knife of 2023 also spent some time with the at the post office, though inexplicably they didn’t deliver it with the rest of the held mail on the 31st, so I didn’t get it until mail service resumed on the 3rd. This handsome wood-handled French folder was part of a Christmas package from Jolipapa Jolipapa that also included T-shirts for my daughters, some French candy and other goodies. Thank you again, Alain! :thumbsup:

My first knife purchased (and delivered) in 2023, this one came like lightning - purchased on Wednesday and delivered on Sunday. The Open Stock version of the Schrade USA 93OT Wrangler, this is the Schrade USA 893 Lumberjack. My wife is an avid hunter of seashells, posed the knife on a tray of sea biscuits (fossils) and other shells. OH

I've never seen a bail like that either. I assume it came from the factory like that as it fits the knife and works perfectly.
 
Actually got this one in just before Christmas. I've wanted to snag the 22 vault pattern Swell Center Jack all year but couldn't decide on which one, so when this exclusive popped up in attractive covers and carbon steel I knew it was the one. Brushed the bolsters as always, and did one blade with a fruit patina and the secondary forced.
