Very Beefy and it’s modular so you
Can swap the blade or tools and even go to a Wharncliffe if you like .

Certainly not new by any stretch, but new to me.

This is a Camillus 18 in the 1960-1976 range tang stamp. It belonged to my Uncle, who was my mentor, and my Aunt saw that I got after his passing in October. Cleaned it up, gave it a little oil and polish and it will be carried on special occasions.View attachment 2044935View attachment 2044937
I'm glad you left some character to your knife. Sorry for your loss, but hopefully the knife will being back good memories when carried.

My David Mary Custom "Red Rhino" neck knife arrived Friday the 13th.

It feels good in the hand, with very grippy SureTouch scales. It's almost the same size as my DMC Wharntastic that arrived last month, but with a slightly shorter blade (3" instead of 3.125"), and slightly longer handle (3.375" vs 3.125"). That lets me get almost a full 4-finger grip. Both knives came sharpened well.

The folded sheath is a bit smaller than the Whartastic sheath, making it ideal for front pants pocket carry, although I can't really feel a difference in their total weight. The Wharntastic sheath would be ideal to install one of my Ulti-clips to clip it onto to my belt or a pocket.

Sibling Rivalry... Imperial style

Half-Barlow meets Barlow - Two recent arrivals in my mailbox - Although with a couple of minor imperfections, they are both in excellent condition. Both are destined to see pocket time. I call the single blade model a Half-Barlow because it has only one blade and only one bolster stamped. NFSOT20230113_071550-E14-B-DDS.jpg

The covers are coming off this right away. The cel it is a changing.

No name on this one, but I think it's worth $7.

I like a proximally tapered tang.

Sometimes I wonder if Camillus made any of those that WASN'T for Albany or ORR felt! Of course my 23 was recovered in M.O.P. before I bought it, so I'll never be sure if it was a felt company knife.
