The colors are sweet on both! Here are two case knives I acquired recently. One is likely a 1940-1948 Case 6235 1/2 capped with a shield in green bone. It has a Case over XX tang stamp, but no pattern number. And so, in theory, is pre-1949. The other is a 1974 Case 6332 in red bone (although not "true" red bone due to the era). I've posted both of these in other threads before, but the sun today really captured the colors of these bone pieces beautifully in my opinion.

No taper (narrower) tang to the curve to the tip, so it's a sheepfoot. (reverse taper; tip wider than the tang, is a ramfoot)Look what arrived in the mail today…
The seller described the one as a lambsfoot but honestly I don’t know if it is or not. I’ll have to ask someone with expertise on lambsfeet.

Can opener dates it to post WW2. I read somewhere that the safety can opener went into production in 1947.
Wowee! That knife sure is a jaw dropper!
thanks, I think he does amazing work.Wowee! That knife sure is a jaw dropper!
It's interesting ... just saw an Empire Knife Company electrician for sale and it looked like the same shield.
I don't think there is an Emoji to fit that knife my friend . It is a Sharp looking knife , but how sharp was the blade ???
