Zt 0452cf

Mine is getting better, but still not as easy as my 0560 or Horizon C or really anything else in my collection :P

But this one is a keeper for sure, so it's going on the EPA today...

We all knew.

Yeah, GuyWithTheThings probably found out on this forum...
Not sure why he's going with the "breaking news" logo for this one... Most people who follow ZT closely were aware, but nobody really wants to pay more than double the retail price just for *slightly* upgraded steel and some milling on the handle.

And when I say "nobody" I of course mean EpicSnuggleBunny aka austonh and any other "gotta catch'em all" ZT superfans.

Rasco, at the risk of looking really stupid what's EPA stand for?

So is there something wrong with this knife? I really like the looks of this one but some of these reviews are scaring me.

One cat I talked to does not like the balance on the knife. But I like everything about it except the blade tip that pokes me when the knife is closed, but I'm going to get that remedied one way or the other. To me, the most notable (and attractive) features are 1) its appearance, 2) that it has a long blade and plenty of realty for a good grip, 3) the thin profile in the pocket, and 4) the deep clip. And the ball bearing pivot doesn't hurt either.

Maximize blade:handle ratio = people complain about possibly catching their finger on the tip
Fail to maximize blade:handle ratio = people complain about wasted space and poor design

There is a sweet spot in between the two, where blade length is maximized but your customers don't bleed. One that comes to mind is the Caly 3.5. Mr. Sal worked some black magic on that one, such that you would swear that the blade is longer than the scales. But no exsanguination. :)

Nothing at all. When you first get it, it can be a little bit tough to flip open. But it just needs to be broken in.
Do not hesitate to pick one up. One of my favorite ZTs for sure.

Just received my 0452, the detent is overkill, seems to me there is a problem. The knife should not be this tough to flip open. At this rate I'm going to have sore fingers and arthritis in no time. ZT lets me down once again...

What do you want for that total crap knife? Shoot me a line, I may take it off your hands. Thanks, Russ

Is anyone else concerned that ZT is making us give them all our money? It seems like the homeruns just don't stop with them. I picked up an 0392 and said I was done for awhile, but now I have an 0452 arriving tomorrow. It makes me wonder if ZT can keep up this pace of exceptional offerings. My bank account hopes they can't; my absurd love of folding knives hopes they can.

That had me laughing. I'm small time compared to some guys like Ramzar who has the almost the entire ZT lineup. But yah....the 204p is coming home Monday. Price wise its in the ballpark with the other ZT LE offerings.

I dig this knife, I had issues with the detent but it does break in over time. I had mine a week now, got it from Kershaw guy.

Mine is perfect. Had to adjust my technique at first but that took all of 20 minutes to master. I can flip it all damn day with no trouble.

I love this knife and think KAI is really king of Ti framelock flippers. Yeah, I said it.
