One significantly degraded experience -- primarily cosmetic -- and he stated that the quality of the company's efforts was failing. And this from someone who had to know that a word to the seller or the maker would get him a refund or a new knife.
That led the seller and the maker to feel he didn't want a refund or a new knife, he wanted to make them look bad.
Did he foresee the flamefest that followed? Maybe not, but it wouldn't have taken much thought to imagine it could happen.
