A formal apology from Jared West of Mantis Knives

if you want to prove you're not jared just email your landline phone number to a mod or a willing member thats not your friend. have him call you at that number. there are plenty of websites where you can put in a phone number and find out which state the number is from. if you are from michigan then the search results will tell the truth. they can then post if you are truthful or not.
 
Mike G said it best. Take Jareds apology any way you want, but lets not get personal. Why is everyone ripping on M4B??? He isnt Jared, I talk to him on the phone a couple times a week. I also talk to Jared periodically. M4B truly stands up for what he believes in. Theres no crime in that. I also support Mantis to this day. Stoning went out in the dark ages unless you live in a third world country.

Idiot marketing campaign started by new company with no reputation. Campaign insults the membership here by implying that they can be duped into giving notice and good rep to company simply on the spam of "militia members.

Idiot "Militia" member defends idiot campaign.

Idiot continues to open his mouth to defend even after many members accept apology.

If idiot would shut up his hole would not get deeper.

As a result, I have no respect for you . . . in general and especially for "The General."

As it stands, quality and esthetic issues aside, Mantis is "non-grata" in my collection.

Nothing personal, though.

Just the law of unintended consequences playing its self out, it seems.

Of course, YMMV and I respect that.

Yeah, like I'm going to give anyone here my phone number???? I don't think so, not after they way I have been treated here. I'm am not too worried about proving I am not Jared, I have nothing to prove. I know who I am, Jared knows who he is. Ragingwolf knows who I am. I told you I live in Michigan, and it is the truth, but that is all I am saying here. Knowing how some of you guys are, you would probably burn down my house if you knew where I lived, sorry but I don't trust you. Why should I???

I was done, but people had to keep making snide remarks about me. A man has the right to try to defend himself, doesn't he? Believe what you will, but I know I am being honest, and GOD knows it. That is all that really matters.

I personally don't care who you are & where you're from... No need to give up your personal info here. But, don't be accusing us or alleging that we would "probably" be getting ready to burn your house down if we knew where you lived. I don't think that any of us would do such a thing.

I believe that this is a battle you will lose. I think your first instinct to cut and run would have been your best course of action.

There is an ignore feature on this forum. If the snide comments from certain members bothers you I suggest you set them to ignore.

From what I have read here, and everywhere else, there has been only one unsatified customer, and he never even went so far as to get the knife---diamdave. So, to all of the people here that have been decent and respectful, thank you, it has been a pleasure hearing your opinions. To all the rest, you know who you are---you are entitled to your own opinions, but do you really have to be so damn disrespectful?? Does spam really make you that mad? What do you do about the spam that you get in your email everday? Probably just delete it, that's what I do. I don't let the little things ruin my day, and get me all pissed off like you guys. Maybe you need to just lighten up a bit. I certainly wouldn't talk to a perfect stranger the way you guys do, and yet you bitch and complain about Mr. West calling someone a loser, you are no better than him. Even though you may think you are..... you're NOT. I'm outta here, peace, to the ones who deserve it.

What is Mr. West's eBay ID? I did a search on Mantis and found only a few odd knives for sale. Nothing that even hinted at the head of a company selling his particular brand.
