About the hate for Survive! Knives.

You've obviously never spent any time out drinking with Jeff and Mike.

(Don't ask me how I know. 🤣)
*they don't tell lies about their business practices.

(Seems like a fun bunch- I'm jealous)

You know who I wouldn't want to party with? Survive! Knives.
I feel like I'd be left with the tab.

I can tell you a guy that won't leave you with the tab...literally. (He wouldn't let me pay mine. And laughed when I tried.)

Ethan Becker.

(There are too many good guys to support to bother wasting time and money on those who don't deserve it.)

i don’t usually comment on these but anyone else see the dude in the background dancing around while guy was bsing about how hard they’re all working. fit their whole persona to a t.

Yeah, and he says, "Everybody here...", and there's only two people. 🤣

Anyway, I mean it with all sincerity, enjoy your knife, you certainly waited long enough. But let's not pretend like the fact that you got it after six years means that everyone is wrong about those scumbags.
.......this pretty much sums it up !!!

......look I hate to embarrass him but I AM Jeff's hero !!!!

Talking about what knife is "best" for this or that purpose is a lot of fun. We all have some opinion.

It is my opinion that the best survival knife to have is the knife you actually do have when you need to survive.

Remember that guy who had to cut off his own arm when it got trapped under as boulder out in the desert? He whittled away at it with the one blade on a less than optimum multi-tool. . . . and that saved his life.

The story:

The blade he used:

And three days later, his Survive! knife that he paid for in 2014 arrived in the mail!

Not sure why some of you let one troll come here and get you all wound up....... .............🤯

We all know SK is trash........ yet, somehow making fun of them is entertaining 🤣

We should do a poll which knife is best for this purpose.

Well, I would have my Carothers DEK1 on me - so she would get called to service if I found myself in a predicament like that. And before I left home, I would put my terotuf scales on her so I wouldn't mess up my gorgeous Cocobolo scales.

I thought Terotuf was more absorbent...maybe not the best choice for a gusher. Maybe I misremember what Nathan said about their down side.

True, but they are grippy and I don't have any G10 scales. I have some G10 scales coming with my DEK2 order. So, if it happened after I receive my DEK2, I would probably be wearing my DEK2 with the G10 scales on it. But since I carry my Glock in a shoulder harness, I would have my DEK1 on one side of my belt, and my DEK2 on the other side. But the one that I planned on using in the wild the most would have the G10 scales on her.

Agreed on both points, the true upside to each of these threads is that more members get educated about the lying, thieving ways of SK and their oblivious fan club.

CPKs Kephart model would be more comparable to S!Ks...there aren't many knives out there in a kephart shape with sabre grind. I think that's what draws most people to S!K,myself included (back in 2016,not anymore tho)
