Allan Blade

I was reading on BB how several are getting E-mails with projected delivery dates of 3 weeks, 4 weeks, six weeks, etc...

That's the MO, they will now sit in silence actually believing their knives will arrive.

Of course when the new due date passes without delivery, Allan will advise them how sorry he is but Pnuemonia, knee injuries, wisdom teeth, or menopause has caused an unexpected delay.

Then he will ask for more to pay for their orders, and :jerkit: :jerkit: :jerkit: :jerkit:

The con is consumated!!!
 
First off, I am no friend of Allan Blades or specific members at British Blades. I look at this thread regularly and see now that the past several pages have been exclusively about how good it is to see that those on BB are now getting shafted, too. Is that really relevant to the task at hand - whether right or wrong?

Don't you think it's time to change the record and get back on track with getting Joe his money back. There was some good movement made a while back and I feel now that hunting Allan for the money is a waste of time, sadly. I, for one, would be happy to take part in another auction with the winner again giving the payment to Joe.

I don't see anybody rejoicing in the BB members' hardships with Mr. Blade. I do see people commenting on the fact that it would have been better for said members to heed the voice of experience while they had the chance. I think that's different.

there is no rejoicing in a "told you so" situation, none.

Sheesh. Look, I realize having an IQ lower than the national speed limit is somewhat limiting, but try and grasp this.

We know all about Allan Blades history - this thread is public is it not?

Many of the people that are owed knives, have been owed them for a long time, often well before they joined BB. One of our admins had been owed a knife for 4 years.

Now you think we are gullible, but we have done our bit to get Joe Chen paid off, have we not? We do things in our own way, we dont call people wankers and we dont allow threads like this. But our methods are no less effective, though frankly, quite a bit classier.

I got a PM asking if a new Allan Blade thread could be started, to tally up and apply pressure to Allan. I OK'd the thread on the proviso it didnt turn into something like this.

Now if you read this Allan, take note...

Sort out your back orders for BB members in short order, at the very least contact them and discuss it. If you dont, I'll close your account on BB.

Truthfully, I'm expecting to close allans account, I doubt it can be avoided, but that's up to Allan and I'm not holding my breath. We've done what we can, we've been more than fair to Allan and we've done more than most to help Joe Chen. If Allan doesnt come through, then it becomes someone elses problem and another door shuts for him.

Dont bother Mark. The neanderthals in here are just getting their collective rocks off by reaming someone, they dont care who. When Allan Blade is dust, they'll be jumping on someone else to get their jollies.

Yes but how much money/knives does Allen now owe others due to promotion on British Blades. Do any of you feel at all responsible for enabling Blade to continue such actions?

There is a lot of stirring going on, which isn't going to amount to anything good for knife-collectors on either board.

Do you think I have control over what people order or dont order? You credit me with far too much influence Cliff.

He's made 61 posts in 2 years and most of them are defending accusations or explaining late knives. Half the people in the "mines late too" thread, bought thier knives before joining BB, andf are just using the thread as a gateway to contact Allan. I cant actually ever remember seeing him advertise a knife - though he may of done in times past.

OK, Cliff, what do you think BB should do. You tell me and we'll try our best.

You want him banned, say the word. But remember, you slam the door shut on any chance "anyone" of his customers has of contacting him - many are your own countrymen.

I looked in to see how things were going and read 3 pages of self satisfied, supercillious, smug comments about my website. After the efforts we put in to get Joe some cash, I was frankly gutted.

You deserve each other.
