Bad experiences with BladeGoblin

imho he didnt start out to rip him off but sadly thats how it ended up........................

he shoulda tried to work something out with the guy imho..........

He just decided that he wasn't going to take the hit for the lost knife and obviously felt that it was fair that the buyer do so.

here's a vote for banning the guy until he makes it right.

:)

Considering his last registered activity was about 7 weeks ago, it would seem to have gotten through to him that he's on the shit list and there's no point coming here because he has no intention of taking any action and just doesn't care about this matter. Whether or not he's actually banned under that ID seems largely immaterial to me.

Some part of the "Half Life" computer game which I like very much named "Forget about Freeman" :)
So I ask everybody - forget about all this!
Hope, it`s O`k with mr. Sorensen, and it`s O`k with his business. Also I hope he is here under new ID. We (me and BG) have our experiences, and everybody knows now that insurance and tracking Must Be when you ship internationally. Hope, this is a good result for all peoples here.

I hope you're right about that Kristopher, that this thread did make everyone think about their buying/selling practices and maybe helped folks have a better and safer transaction after such consideration.

Mark who did you think hadn't seen this, besides you?

Did you get that butt hurt over what I said in whine and cheese?

BladeGoblin, you are not the victim here.

I'm not playing the victiim, Mark obviously thought he could dig his heels into me, because of something that was said in whine and cheese.

The fact is I've sold between 12-15 knives since this thread.

The last I'm going to say here, I've stated my reasons.

What reasons? You barely made an appearance in this thread.

So did you send kristopher_robin his $180?

.

Blade Goblin, it's not too late to make this right. $200 bucks is small fish compared to a reputation.

If memory serves, the first of two lengthy threads (this one being the second one) related to this topic was started nearly two years ago. Even with the passage of time, people have a hard time forgetting a blatent ripoff like this one.

I've just read this entire thread and what a mess. I guess it never did get resolved? I've spent a lifetime being a person of character. I cannot imagine flushing it down the toilet for 180 bucks.

I don't know about anyone else but I would be happy to throw in 20 bucks toward getting this guy his money back.Maybe contribute to a mods paypal and hopefully others could contribute until he can be made whole again. Just let me know and I will be happy to help.

How about a government bailout for the BladeGobbler. Liveitloud, nice idea but even though it is abundantly clear that a decent person, Kristopher_Robin, did get totally screwed over (possibly even robbed) in this deal, I believe it is up to the seller to make things right. That's what this particular forum is all about. That and also making sure buyers don't make the mistake of dealing with sellers who behave in this manner. Kristopher_Robin politely asked that everyone just let this thing die because it was just not worth dragging it on for the $180 he was out. That post from KR is the only reason that I did not bump the thread before Mark did. However, once bladegoblin started hanging around the forum again I knew it was just a matter of time. It could still all be settled for a small sum of money but I doubt it ever will. My advice to all that read this is don't buy from this seller. Period. I know I won't. -DT

As I stated before, had anyone cared enough to actually look for a reason.

Had he simply warned me, of the above, I never would have done business with him.

If I was ordering a switchblade(for example) from anyone, it would be my responsibility to tell them, switchblades are illegal in Washington.

I won't be giving him a refund, as I stated before.

This will be my last post in the thread, bump away.
