These are the best folders I've ever owned. I've had one of my full sized Grips modded by Tom Krein and love it.

Wow that wharncliff one is awesome  I have a Cabelas mini-grip and it is my fave knife. I suggest anyone on the fence about trying a grip should get one and I doubt you will regret it. I sure haven't

This is my old and trustee Mini-grip 557SBK

As you can see it got around a bit and there is a few minor cosmetic but overall this knife perform as new =)

I just love it. Should get a new soon.

BTW> No it's not missing a clip I'm just lefty =)

That is how all knives should look IMO! Great knife and keep using it!

myright

The Warncliff looks great! What made you decide to go that route? Just curious.

Nice pics!

And nice 2 year bump!

The Mini-Grip is my favorite folder. Been carrying one everyday for two years straight.

I'd rather go without underwear than without my Mini-Grip.

It was really a combination of things. First and foremost I love the blade design - I use it mostly out and about in the woods and around the house. The strong point and nearly straight edge work perfectly for me. Second, I love the full handle feel of the Grip but not the large blade. And lastly the legal limit for a concealed knife in my state is 3" so I had Tom bring it down for me.

I love it very much!!!

mini grip was my 1st "good" knife. It was hard to pay way more than any other knife I had ever bought at the time but now after lots of other knife purchases it is still my favorite to carry, course I carry more than one now...looking at the ritter and maybe the D2 from cabelas to mix it up a bit. Great Knife!!

Glad this thread got revived. I'm debating between a 556 Mini-Gript and a 707 Sequel for my EDC. Anyone here have both of these models to compare? I'm finding I want something just a tad thinner and lighter than my 585 mini Barrage.

New mini Ritter with pale green Wilkins and my Rolex that has seen 10+ years of daily abuse :-)

Here are some pics of a 707 with 558 (Mini Ritter). I find Mini Grips to be more practical than the 707. They open slightly easier, as the thumb studs are a little further out from the handle when the knife is closed, and the addition of a thumb ramp makes for a knife that feels more comfortable in use.

Sorry I can't let you have a shot showing the thickness, as those are old photos and I no longer have the 707.
