Here are some pics of a 707 with 558 (Mini Ritter). I find Mini Grips to be more practical than the 707. They open slightly easier, as the thumb studs are a little further out from the handle when the knife is closed, and the addition of a thumb ramp makes for a knife that feels more comfortable in use.
Sorry I can't let you have a shot showing the thickness, as those are old photos and I no longer have the 707.
These two knives are meant for different tasks and their respected designs reflect those requirements.Steven... thanks very much for the observations. I thought I would prefer the slimmer, lighter 707 for EDC with slacks, but if the knife suffers from design differences compared to the mini Gript, and costs $30 more, perhaps I'll go with the thicker mini Gript and save the $30.

707 is good knife for office carry, when all you need it for is to open few envelopes and cut an occasional apple. It sports better steel then mini grip (unless we are talking about ritter grips)
Mini Grip is a better for long cutting sessions.
Both have a place in any collection![]()
