I have to add,
While banning is an option i dont think it is the right thing to do YET.
Limiting access is what i have seen on other forums,
* the member can only access the particular thread in question, nothing else.
This way a response can be sought and if none is forthcoming it shows clearly the person is what you have suspected all along.
also atke into account if you ban someone that is it, finsihed, no chance at recovery of good/ monies.

Thank you but I must say this is not not getting me anxiety. I can relax in this thread easily just watching your avatar... And out of this screen, in the real world, this is out of my mind. It's true here in BF I felt frustration as I've seen how Igor is free to do this sort of things while the mods are tired to act... so I'm not gonna send them vitamins, nor gonna send Igor the knife before he pays me all my money back (not expecting this). I'm not gonna get mad staring at the knife neither, anyway it teached me a lesson from BF and who knows if I'm getting a true mint knife from a nice human being in the future. In fact I'm getting really good knives next week just to be crying about this one. Igor maybe felt nice shelling that knife for big bucks, but he's gonna regret it for sure.
Beating a dead horse? The more people read this the more people would know about him so he'll think twice before doing this again. Maybe he's becoming something closer to a man after all... I hope Heiheit gets his package though he's already lost money fixing his knife and getting back the sharpener. Maybe he will tell us how things end.

At this time it's very doubtful that Heiheit is gonna get any package from Benya.
If Benya does not get banned for doing this to nirvanero and then ripping off Heiheit by not sending that package. Well I wont know what to think.
Hopefully people wont start thinking that they can get away with this kinda crap just because nothing was done about it.

This forum as others offers a place to advertise and sell/trade, there NOT responsible for personal transactions...just like any other place or publication one would advertise something forsale....there's always a chance of any deal going bad.

Since there's more than one person involved who has been negatively effected by the same person, benya is the weak link in the chain.
As such, my opinion is this:
Benya, you've got a choice. You can refund / replace / return the money & items in question, at which things should be back to square one. If you fail to do this in a timely manner, your account will be pulled.
Do the right thing.

Well, there you go; Thank you Kevin for getting involved. Lets hope Igor does the right thing. By the way, Igor emailed me the yesterday after I emailed him asking him if he actually shipped it and he said he sent an email earlier and included pictures of a receipt.. Strange thing is he insured the aligner for $100 when I only payed $50 for it and he insured the 710 he originally sent me for $100.
I'd say that $50 and $100 insurance probably cost the same, so I probably would do the same thing.
Spark is stepping in and doing all he can to help. That's awesome. I'm glad to see him get involved. I know that he has his hands full, it's nice to see that he took the time to step in and get involved personally.

That is odd. Makes me think he "might" be showing you the slip for the knife. Did you actually see a date that is was post stamped?

Yes, your right. They are not responsible for any personal loss.
But they do however have the power to give the boot and ban whoever scams, cheats, lies and steals from the good trusting people of this community.
Just like anywhere else, there has to be order. Because without we will continue to see the good people of this forum get screwed over.

In my opinion benya has already screwed up his reputation. I don't think he cares or has any intentions of ever making good with anyone here on BladeForums. If he truly cared about his rep or this community he wouldn't have took off and ignored this mess.
Anyone self respecting member who actually cares about how they are perceived here would have stayed trying to resolve these problems to the best of their ability.
I think he'll just take the banning on the chin and go else where.
At least that's the best we can hope for...
On the other hand, it's getting closer to Christmas now and I know that the holidays can "sometimes" bring out the best in people. So hopefully Benya bucks up and does the right thing...

27 days and still no aligner; I doubt I'll ever get it back. Igor is a class act; mock me publicly because of my age, call me names, leave me negative feedback for something I thought (and still do think) was a completely rational decision, and then keeps it for himself.
Sorry to hear that, I was hoping that Spark's involvement would put some sense back in Benya's head. I think Benya realized he will never do a single deal under his current handle again, so he has very little left to lose. Having PayPal pull his account would be good because it is not easy to create another PP account.
Let's not confuse the two issues. Whatever his behavior since the time, he was completely within his rights to ask for swap back or refund or whatever if he was not satisfied with the sharpeners you sent him. Your belief about the sharpeners is entirely irrelevant.

What he did though is complain about it and then when he was to ship the sharpener back he never did. It must not have been all that bad if he kept it?
