beware of Igor aka benyaM95 Ranger Knif

Shouldn't be hard to figure out. His first and only post is telling HappyDonut that a sebenza he bought arrived fine. So, figure out who/where the Sebenza went to, and there you have it.
 
I just sent happydonut a PM asking if he sent that Seb to Ontario Canada.

Edited to add: Yes, that seb was sent to a Toronto Ontario address.

I'm now waiting for the full address that it was shipped too.

We'll see here in a bit if Igor is operating under two blade forum accounts.

Why do we have to do all this ourselves? Aren't the moderators here for that? This is smelling like rotten fish more and more every day...

Maybe we missed the umpteenth Forum Rules Update...

1- It is now allowed to steal from fellow members;
2- It is also OK to misrepresent a knife listed for sale as long as the buyer is a newbie and lives abroad;
3- It is advised to have several handles just in case one became tainted by one's misconduct.

In any other situation this would be the smoking gun, however I don't believe the mods will act on this extra piece of information.
I sent Spark a link to my post where I raised doubts about Benya and Igor01 being the same person. That was early this morning. No reply and no reaction whatsoever from him so far.

Hopefully he's just busy and when he has the time he'll do something about it.

Because when people see what Igor did, and then the fact that nobody did anything about it. People are gonna think that BladeForums is a place where it's okay to pull this type of sh!t because noting gets done about it.

I really love this community and truly don't want this place to turn out like that.

Aside from the scamming and theft. I always thought having two accounts is a bannable offense? :confused:

I guess the mods would have to do an IP check to find out for sure.

Bay street rings a bell. The address that I was given might be his work address.

Regardless, it still stinks.

If he only logs on at work then the IP address's wont match and he gets a free pass.
 
I'll bet there's not a lot of Igors in and around Toronto that are resisted here on BladeForums.

They are one in the same.

The Mods are not and cannot be everywhere. Just report the freaking post and stop with the Mod crap. This IS a community where we should all do our part, not just the Mods....................

Well said, wolfie. With every post it sounds like Mr.L has a stiffy against the mods. Perhaps a nice long sit on a can of raid is in order?
 
So I emailed Igor and this is what he said:

because up to this point you have kept any obligations/promises made to me.

I wonder how many times this thread has been reported? All the mods have probably seen it by now. The community has indeed done their part. If you ask me the community went above and beyond their call of duty. I have been in the same shoes as the op just eight months ago. It's sickening that this is being tolerated more and more on here. The evidence is plain and clear. Those responsible for doing something about it have just stood by for how long now? (Hearing the clock tick and the crickets chirp in the silence).
I've been keeping up with this thread, made a few comments a few pages ago, but now I have to say it. All the thieves that got away with it should stand up real straight, fall through their assholes and hang themselves.

I don't want to be a part of this bullshit game anymore.
I refuse to be associated in membership to anyone who condones this behavior.

Mods, I am hereby requesting to be banned pending the reporting of this post.
