Christmas gift swap!!! LAST DAY TO JUMP IN!!

I assumed everyone would want to wait.
I'm enjoying the anticipation, although my package was torn & I did see a sheath tip inside,I will not open it till Christmas!
Joseph assures me that the sheath & what's in it are all that is in the box.
I had to ask him to make sure something else didn't fall out during the rough handling.
I'm a traditionalist so I can wait.(But I do know I'm getting a knife & sheath that's to big to fall out of a 2" tear:cool:!Thanks again Joseph.)

You are very welcome Myke,
I like to try and give gifts that I know the receiver will definitely like.
I'm 99% sure you will like it.
Merry Christmas!!!
Joseph
P.S. You don't have to wait until Christmas to open it,
But it's up to you and how long you can stand the suspense.
;)

I can wait - I just wasn't sure if we were supposed to open them and post up our "goodies" when they arrived or not.

I forgot to subscribe to this thread.. still learning the site..sent out Monday..arrived yesterday..waiting for mine to put under the tree

Apologizing in advance, for an open infraction of The Rules:

What I'm sending is new,in the box.

Here is why:
I own four....or five? and they have all been used hard.
No visible damage, and no failures....ever...despite NOT being coddled.

But....
I'd just feel better sending the man a new one.

It will be here Monday, and I'll mail it out then.

UPDATE: Just got an email w/ tracking # from ac700wildcat...my gift from him is inbound! Thanx,Matt!

Why wait, lets open 'em & let our gifters know they arrived safe & sound.
Damn,I feel like John Kerry with the flip-flopping,but what the hell, piece of mind is at stake here.(and it's a very small piece in my case.:o)

Lets open 'em guys!!!

Merry Christmas

Mykel, I do declare I think I see a teeny weeny little crack starting in that calm composure of yours . . . . :D
Be safe.
p.s.: Isn't it amazing how one little gift can make grown me revert back to their childhood days so quickly ???
Great idea "Santa Chris" . . .

Ill open mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I noticed a small hole in the box too!(It wasn't because I had my kid ram a fork in it either)

. . . Daym I am glad my mouth was empty when I read that . . . .
(a great mental picture of a three year old poised on a chair with Dad standing next to him shouting instruction of where to gouge the fork in it . . . .  )

Ha Ha...My package arrived today (Thanks Eric!!!!) and my wife immediately took the box and said I couldn't open it until Christams Eve (I'll be working on Christmas). I made the mistake of telling her when I got back into the truck at the post office that I was laughing at you guys for wanting to open your gifts early and that you all are SEVERELY lacking discipline, but it was wierd how as soon as I had my gift "in hand", I wanted to open it right there in the truck!!! The temptation is strong, but the couch is cold this time of year!!! Merry Christmas Fella's!!!

Fun Idea Chris!!! Thanks!!!

Stump, read the p/s on post #91. So far I do not have to do laundry or run the vac, but that box is starting to look like a turkey to a starving man I'm telling ya . . . .
Tough deal working on Christmas, my brother is a trooper in Alabama & we can count on one hand the Christmas & Thanksgiving holidays he has been to at mom's in the last 10+ years. We just schedule it another time when we know he can get up here for a few days. All we pray for is he stays safe during this silly season and comes thru ok.
Merry Christmas to you & your family as well, hope that package makes it too . . . . :D :D
Be safe.

Merry Christmas and feel free to shake the box to your heart's content trying to guess what's in there. :D
(and yes, there's something in a plain brown wrapper for your wife in there, too - you might point that out to her)

OK,I opened it!
It's a knife!
And it's a Knife For Users!
WooHoo!!

I had to test the edge as I do with all my new knives.
It seems pretty sharp so I think I'll keep it.;)

Thank you Joseph,I love it!It's more than I expected & I'm very grateful for such a fine gift.(My 3rd KFU & Chris's first skinner.)

I want to thank Chris also for doing this gift swap in his & BA's forum.
Thank You Chris!

I don't really do Christmas being single & the only family I have is my little sister over in Montana so this was very special for me.(even though I couldn't wait to open my gift  )
I hope everyone is as happy with their gifts from their forum brothers as I am with mine & that you all have a very merry Christmas.

Myke

I knew someone would give in before long. Mine just showed up today, so I might have a bit more patience than the people who have had theirs for a few days. I am kinda thinking about opening it in the morning. Will just have to see how many people cave in tonight and open theirs first. ;)

Thats awesome Mykel! My first skinner. Beats the hell out of socks or a tie! Thanks everyone for the kind words on doing this swap. I have met some great people on here and I appreciate all of you for hanging out.

IF ANYONE DOESN'T GET THEIR GIFT BY WED LET ME KNOW AND I WILL CONTACT THE SHIPPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK,I opened it!
. . . . HA, I knew the pressure would get to you . . . . :D
Mykel, don't feel bad brother, I have had mine in my hands 4-5 times today and all the times Sally T. threatened to let me find out how sleeping on the couch feels if I opened it . . . . I will assure you that box WILL SEE the light of day by next week-end, the damn suspense is killing me . . . .
Thanks for not making me be the first one to break, a lot of us owe ya' . . . .
Merry Christmas.
Be safe.
