Comeandtakeit welches ........AGAIN...........AND AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look tell me who you sold MY knife to??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I know your pissed, but I think you should focus on comeandtakeit, not who bought the knife and has not been shown to have done anything willfully wrong.

I can provide proof to the mods if needed to back up everything I've said. I initiated a refund to you on the 12th if PayPal still hasn't refunded you then you need to take it up with them. I would also like to point out colubrid never attempted to talk to me about any of this. He got the mods to reopen this thread just to further attack me.

Like it would have helped me if I took it up with your first? LOL!

Dude you sold my knife out from under me. now the refund you gave does not have funds in that account. You already admitted to this by saying I sent it to the wrong account.. but it is still your paypal account.

BTW the message I attached to the thread earlier was sent to me from paypal TONIGHT!

An eCheck payment from Corey Charpentier was declined by the sender's bank. We will automatically try to process this payment again in 3 business days. It then usually takes 3-5 days for the money to be deposited into your account. Please do not ship items until you receive payment.

Hey Colubrid,
Totally uncool what you are dealing with. Hopefully that guy chooses to man up and do what is right to get you your money.

Whomever he sold the knife to is just as much a victim as you are though, and surely the guy has no idea what happened between the two of you and would probably be tempted to start a hate thread of his own if he gets dragged into this mess.

I understand your frustration and sincerely hope things work out for you.

Is it true the refund was in the form of an eCheck? One of you is doctoring the cut and pastes from PayPal, and it looks like you are.

If the money was sent and accepted to your Yahoo PayPal account, and you didn't remove it, it would have been refunded from your PayPal funds, immediately. Even if PayPal was holding the funds and had not released them to you yet they would have processed a refund immediately.

You have admitted to refunding the money from the second payment, meaning the payment was made and accepted by your Yahoo PayPal.

The only way your refund would have been in the form of an eCheck was if you emptied the Yahoo account (spent elsewhere, transferred, gifted to your other PayPal account, etc..) of the money he sent you before you initiated the refund.

Therefore you do still have the money.

If so you are not fooling anyone, and trying to wash your hands of it only makes you really look like a thief. You owe him his money back, or the knife he was trying to buy. What you posted above doesn't prove the refund was successful, just initiated.

File a claim with PayPal and contact your credit card company.

I am not doctoring anything.. I just found out tonight as can be seen by the email Paypal sent me about the delay in payment.

You got to remember this was on the 12th I paid and he refunded. It is now the the 18th (as posted on the email I recived from paypal this evening.

Money didn't go anywhere I can show the history of that account to the mods as well. I tried to protect some privacy removing names etc with my cut and paste unlike the op. I'm not going to post anything else on here where it is open to the whole internet. Mods contact me for any further info please.

I'd rather just get my knife that he was supposed to ship me.

But yes I will file a claim. I don't know how paypal protection works in a case like this. I did talk to them and they said just wait another few days and see what happens.

So in the meantime...I just want to wait and see what develops here with MY knife. Wonder who might come out of the woodwork with it. Or if a mod can check the PMs and see who he sold it to?

Colubrid,

I am sorry you are going thru this but... you should concern yourself with getting your $$ back... you will find another knife...

This is very, very upsetting on multiple levels

It doesn't matter who he sold it to. You have a right to your money, but you have no claim to the knife because the deal never closed.

You should forget about the knife and focus on your money.

LEGALLY! The deal closed. That is what this thread started as.

Agreed. Trying to involve an innocent third party in this mess isn't right.

And I do have a right to know who has my knife.
