Nasty day with 25-30 mph winds with gusts over 40mph. Temps in the 20's and falling. Feels like a good day to stay inside and make some chicken tortilla soup.

Used my extra large Tellico to cut up this 20# chicken for homemade chicken and dumplings on this cold wet day.

Lunch today at the Honduran joint was exceptional! Their beef soup is amazing! Corn comes in it on the cob, meat comes on the bone, cabbage, carrots, etc are all in big chunks. The @Cohutta Mountaintown EDC I had with me had plenty to work on! As did I! Comes with handmade/fresh tortillas, jalapeños, onions, cilantro, rice, corn, beef, cabbage, carrot, yuca (?), and amazingness.

Complete with my @Diomedes Industries PPS 638 pocket sheath of course!

Makers of spoon and bowl are unknown, but were fully appreciated.

I couldn't wait I had to cook in it a few times before this picture. My new 11" hand made carbon steel skillet from blanc creatives that my wife got me. I am looking forward to getting use to this skillet more. It looks like one of my fiddlebacks has already taken to it.

I cut up a semi thawed Turkey leg for lunch today with my KE Bushie.

Big bird, two people, lots of leftovers. Been eating turkey soup for three nights. Froze the rest.

Still half a bird in the freezer. This weekend, Turkey Hash!

Way boring and doesn't deserve bandwidth compared to some of this other stuff.
That slab of smoked meat is mouthwatering!
