Flatbread pizza with a garlic pesto butter wash, pepperoni, three cheeses, Greek olives, and roasted peppers and onions. Um um good

Camp dinner last night. Elk backstrap and cowboy potatoes with garden fresh jalapeño. The Lady did all the cutting tasks of course! Probably the best dinner in the woods I've ever had. :thumbup:

Fired up the smoker last night and did a few racks of pork ribs. The Leuku was the bomb!

I only sustained minor bruising but here's how it went down:

Her: Are you on snack duty and can you get me a bowl of vanilla ice cream?
Me: Sure. Did you want some Rocky Road too?
Her: Did I say I wanted Rocky Road or did I say i wanted vanilla?
Me: Alright, I'm going to open this pint instead of the half gallon.
Her: Ok, then give me half of that.
Me: You really want half of it?
Her: Did I say that I wanted half of it?
Me: (puts the Ladyfinger to work and then hands her one of these)




 
Hahaha! I can just see it going down. That's good stuff. What was her reaction?

PS I definitely need a stainless Old School Lady.

It actually went over ok. I survived but sarcasm is usually limited to her use. Last week on vacation, I handed her the stainless Lady to cut up some dinner and got a "Oh hey, that's sharp! I cut right through the plate" (2 paper plates, but she's used to using her dull kitchen knives) I'm digging the CPM154 and micarta handle for hot humid Texas summer for sure. You need to git you one for sure.

By the way, I don't know why I bother looking at this thread when I know its just going to make me friggen hungry and send me towards the kitchen. There's always such awesome looking food in here!
