Fiddlebacks and Food

awesomeness Tek

I've only had lamb at Fogo during BLADE. it has never occured to me to cook it at home

I only sustained minor bruising but here's how it went down:

Her: Are you on snack duty and can you get me a bowl of vanilla ice cream?
Me: Sure. Did you want some Rocky Road too?
Her: Did I say I wanted Rocky Road or did I say i wanted vanilla?
Me: Alright, I'm going to open this pint instead of the half gallon.
Her: Ok, then give me half of that.
Me: You really want half of it?
Her: Did I say that I wanted half of it?
Me: (puts the Ladyfinger to work and then hands her one of these)

That is just awesome!!

I did a bit of a primer on useful and edible plants for the folks at RMJ Tactical yesterday, I am doing a slideshow presentation for them next month. So Sunday I went on a wander to gather a few tasty things to take with me.

Yes that is pineapple. There were two more pizzas without pineapples but this one came out of the oven first. So only it got pictures

Breakfast at our beach campground...and dinner too. Sorry that I forgot to get my blade into the dinner pic. It was there.

Traditional Filipino dish called Kinilaw. Uncooked anchovies with onion, ginger and chili in coconut vinegar. Like a ceviche. Fish fresh from the boat at 5am, in the plate by 6!

Nice. I remember driving through Humboldt last time I visited. I've been out there a handful of times the past few years, but I've still got some getting used to the flatness of the place. Nice folks out there though and great beer and jerkey as you mentioned. And the butter cow!!!
