fort turner is a scam

No, nothing on the tracking yet. Here is what I am seeing. I guess it has not been put in the mail yet.


A package with a Click-N-Ship® label created on usps.com is scheduled to be shipped on 02/27/2016. If the "Shipped To" address information is not correct, please contact the Shipper.

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on February 28, 2016 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if/when available.
 
Ugh. Package has yet to be dropped off at PO.....great.

Thank you. I checked again this morning and no movement yet. Maybe he only makes into town once a week or so. Once I get them I will post some pics of his work. He does good work from what I have seen. Really the only complaint besides the delivery time is the hardness was not correct on some. Cant wait to see them.
 
Any movement on the tracking number that Dana sent you a week ago. To put this in perspective, you ordered this stuff from Dana in 2013...
 
No nothing yet. Still the same. I sent him a note this morning confirming that this was the tracking. We are not that far apart so I would doubt it would take more than two days max.

It is pretty apparent that once again Dana Turner, the owner of Fort Turner, www.fortturner.com, is saying one thing and doing another.
 
No still have not gotten the package. He told me exactly seven days that he is getting ready to ship and it should be shipping early next week. That would have been this week. I hope to see them next week given a few extra days of fluff. Tracking number still shows no change in status. Fingers crossed.
 
Sounds like you guys need to get together and file a class action lawsuit. Forget trying to get any governmental agency to help you. They are useless, IMHO. Good luck.
 
Take the guy to court already, or face the fact that you have been suckered as you are being played by him. Just how long are you going to believe his lies?

How can anyone believe the guy at all? The only reason I was able to get what I ordered is because I didn't mess around and informed him I would file a dispute through VISA. I gave him a time period that he had to get me my order or the dispute would be filed. With someone like him you have to have leverage.

Ladams, you talk a good game, but don't back it up. You said that you were going to file the small claims court papers back in December. It's obvious that you should have.

Please don't tell me that this is going to turn out like a lot of threads do. You know. You wait 2 years for what was supposed to be delivered in 2 mo's and then it's "Dana Turner is just good folks!!!". " It was all a misunderstanding!!" "Great guy! Great product". "You can trust Dana Turner and Ft. Turner Forge!!!"

Please don't. And if he wants you to provide positive feedback in exchange for you getting your order then for the sake of your dignity, pride and integrity then please don't.

I only say this because I have seen it happen too many times.
 
This thread is the #4 result on a Google search (right before the BBB). Hopefully people will see it before they order.
 
I had a guy over on a Facebook forum ask if Ft Turner throwing knives were any good. I told him that I didn't know how well they were made but that he should check out this thread. He got back to me that he was going to look elsewhere for his knives, but he also let it slip that he had a set of hawks on order since November and that he is getting responses that "they should be ready soon". He is now hoping he isn't in the "scam cycle".
 
I find it amazing that anyone is still buying anything from Dana Turner, the owner of Fort Turner, www.fortturner.com. Maybe when this thread is the #1 result on Google people will see it and be saved from dealing with Dana Turner's BS.
