fort turner is a scam

I find it hard to imagine anyone paying Dana Turner, the owner of Fort Turner, www.fortturner.com, anything for Fort Turner. Dana has pretty much destroyed the reputation of this business and anyone who does even the most cursory research will immediately see this.
 
Well he did not send me my refund or the product I ordered so I will continue to tell my story at every posting I see about Fort Turner. In the end he is only hurting himself and his business. As long as I tell the exact truth there is no legal issues. I only refer the BBB and my story, all the truth. It will end his business over time because enough people will learn of his lack of business principles. If I ever find him selling under a new name I will tell the same story there too. I will never stop telling it. I know it has cost him much more at this point that what my order costs. I have got enough email stating they did not or would not order for him to easily equal my order several times over.

Has Dana Turner, the owner of Fort Turner, www.fortturner.com, done anything to resolve this? Have you gotten a refund yet, or is he continuing to keep your money without sending the products that you ordered. At what point does a person cease to be terrible businessman and start to be a thief?
 
Nope, I have gotten nothing from him as of yet. I just filed a complaint today with an Internet crime division of the Federal Govt.
 
Mr Turner just contacted me tonight and told me he was sending me my 3 hawks that I ordered as well as 3 leather sheaths for them for my trouble. He is working on them now. I thought that was very nice of him. If I get my items I will be true to my word and remove my stuff. I would be willing to give a review too as far as that goes. I am not a bad person. I just want what I ordered and close that chapter up. Hopefully I will be posting some pictures soon of the new stuff. This is a good chance for him to heal and go into a new era of renewed character.
 
Yes, you have to pay up front. I have called him many, many times. I have been more than polite to him also. He gave me many excuses. First excuse I got from him was, "I just don't know why I can not get this order done. It must be because you ordered more than one style." Those were his words. Then he told me that he made my order and they cracked in heat treat. When I called and was asking over and over again when it would ship. He told me that he was disabled and I am being disrespectful because of his disability. He told his machine of some kind was broken. I was trying to be understandable. Well several months past and no order. I called several times again and have sent close to 50 emails to him. At the time there was a Facebook page about how he was ripping people off. I went on there and told my story. He got mad and cursed me out. I told him that it has been more than 2 years and I would happily remove it all if he just shipped my order. Nothing but rudeness and cursing from him. I got this email from him in Aug 2014, 11 months after my order. """Hi Larry , I apologize for the wait , As you know I’ve had major medical problems , but I’m back at it , just much slower , I’ve pulled your order & working on it & will ship shortly. Thank you for your patience , Dana."" still no order. Well here we are another year has passed and nothing. I have been busy lately so I let the course case pass. I will be filing the case while on Christmas break. I am really done with this guy. He is rude, unprofessional and just a plain bad business man. It is sad he is acting like that.

Ladams19, I am happy that Dana has said that he is going to ship your order. However, I would encourage you NOT to remove your posts about the issues you experienced with your order. Instead, add an update and / or do a review if you get your product. But please leave a record of what happened to you. Dana is still in business, and apparently still not filling orders in a timely manner. Only by leaving a record of what happened to you will others be able to make an informed decision regarding the risk they accept when they give Dana their money.

When and if you get your hawks make sure to check the edges. When I did finally get mine I ruined a file trying to sharpen it he over hardened it and I had to send it back for him to fix it.
 
In cases like this it's best to get his States Attorney General involved. Especially if you get some other victims to do the same. I had a great experience with the Texas Attorney General years ago, straightened out a scumbag real quick for me. Had my money back rather quickly.

I did contact the state attorney general. He told them that he has a case against me for stealing his pictures from his web page and posting them on Facebook. The AT dropped it quickly and sent me a note telling me the lawyers would have to sort it out. It is not me that he has a case against. It is some other person. I was not too happy that they did so little research to verify his story. Just his word and they dropped it and sent me the letter that he wrote about me and his Facebook case. All the time it is not me at all.
 
Update. Dana contacted me and told me that he was shipping me my order and has added a sheath to each hawk for my wait. I got the notice with tracking number 3 days ago showing it to be shipped out priority 2 day mail. He is only less than 200 miles from me. I still do not show the tracking has been updated so he has not had it picked up or dropped it at the post office as of yet. I will post when I get my order and ensure some pictures are posted.
