How long has the knife in question been in transit.

In my experience it has usually taken the USPS somewhere between 4-6 weeks to deliver packages to some international locations.
 
As much as I was done with this thread this will be my final post. Here's is the paypal info to prove no money was awarded to saviC. According to Ukraine Customs aren't butterfly knives, Balisongs, automatic knives illegal to own ion the ukraine? Is this why you asked me to ship it as a camping tool? You seem to have forgotten to mention this in all of your previous posts. Regardless of shipping method all things must go through customs correct? So why would you order something illegal in your country? Is this the reason you have yet to contact customs?

He still shipped the package . I always ship via the cheapest shipping for over seas to my sister in England and she get's it in 2-3 weeks with no issue ever . For Paypal to side in Gosh's favor is huge that is rare from what I have heard so I don't see a point in trashing him . How do we know the guy hasn't received the knife ? And the last time I sent something to Poland it was a ZT 650 and I put Garden Tool on customs form and again no issue .
 
According to Ukraine Customs balisongs, switchblades, as well as most folding knives are illegal to possess without a document form from the ministry. So by Savic asking me to ship the balisong as a camping tool he must've been fully aware of the laws. Have you checked with customs? No. What have you done aside from pointing fingers. You accuse me of withdrawing money so that paypal cannot return it to you? well read the post above. I highlighted the part where paypal has awarded me complete judgement due to some unusual activity on your account. Feel free to point fingers. But I will call you out on your bs.

You are absolutely 100% wrong.

I've seen SaviC's PayPal records. They are unambiguous. SaviC was awarded a refund of all three payments, two of which he has received ($400+$260=$660) and one ($400) that could not be extracted from your account. The PayPal record is clear on this matter. And when I say I've seen the records, I mean the actual source data, including actual screenshots--not anything that he has cut and pasted.

Now, I'm not saying that you are lying about the $650 you got back, but I can tell you that it didn't come out of SaviC's account. If you actually received this money, that would be very interesting. Actually it would be perplexing.
 
BryanJ Can i send you my paypal records directly through email rather then posting it? I am also willing to speak with paypal regarding this issue with you as a silent third party if you'd like. I am not lying. Please verify the dates. My paypal information is dated December 19th 2011. Read the bold post above. Andrey was wrongfully awarded in this judgement and charges have been reversed. He is showing old information. Andrey why haven't you answered any of the questions regarding the legality issues of the balisong in Ukraine?

Yes, but I'll instruct you how to export the documents I'll need via PM. I never claimed you were lying, only that this a bizarre situation. Please don't imply that I am lying. I've seen SaviC's PayPal records and can assure you that everything he has said is accurate. The information I have is through 12/17/11--sufficiently recent for the purposes of this analysis since your credit occurred prior to this time.

Gosh - if you in fact got back the 650, pay him the additional 400 you owe him as you should have the money. Most folks (like myself) can't afford a hit like that - specially four days before Christmas. Ho Ho Ho...
 
If Savik disputes it as not received Visa will contact customs to see where it's at . For smaller amounts Visa will pay for it sometimes but not with $1000 . Has Savik gone down to his local Goat shop/Customs and seen if they have the knife or does he not need his "camping tool" that bad ?
 
bryan j, i have seen the (pdf file) paypal report from gosh and it does indeed say the dispute was reversed in favor of gosh.
 
Guys, this is insane! I distrust electronic records in general. Unless we are getting communication straight from paypal inmo it's unsure on both sides what the original coorespondence was.
 
Gosh, you have distorted the truth so many times and done some pretty dispicable things during this whole discussion, that I'm not sure you're telling the truth about the PayPal decision. But frankly, the way you twist the facts, it wouldn't surprise me if you did finangle your way into a new decision, though.

One way that I suspect you are lying (and I get paid to suspect that people are lying), is the way you keep addressing completely irrelevant issues, trying to steer the spotlight off of you. Now it's the legality of owning a balisong in the Ukraine. Frankly, who cares? We are not the Ukrainian police, and besides, even if it is ilegal... you sold it to him, idiot.

I'm done with this thread, and sure as heck done with this "Gosh" guy.

Legality of knives in my country does not depend on type of a knife - whether it be Balisong or the automatic knife - it does not mean that it's illegally. Legality or illegality depends from are long, forms and a material of an blade, type of handle, forms and the size of an emphasis of a knife. In our country knives with trauma dangerous handles are not illegal cold steel. For example Bali like Benchmade 51 or 53 are completely legal in my country and every person can buy that balis in knife shop.
Confirming to my words I can show you the internal document from my country.
It is official examination of three knives - Benchmade 51, Benchmade 53 and Harley Davidson Nagara


Excuse me, but as the document only for my country - I can't give it in english.
Maybe someone from guys can a little read Russian or the Ukrainian language - will confirm my words.
Essence of the document - it's examination of three knives on an opportunity of free distribution in knife shops or illegality as cold steel.
Conclusion of examination in last paragraph:

Here the expert having analysed parameters, gives a conclusion, that these knives of economic household or hunting purpose and they are not illegal cold steel. I don't have such document for Benchmade 49, because it's limited edition - but it would be the same.
About "camping tool" description. I know, that anyway the customs services in all countries always with suspicion concerns to a word "knife" in the description - any person should understand it. It draws unnecessary attention to a package, and I don't want it. I don't want to have customs red tape, and in any case in future I will not buy any packet with description "knife" at all - legal that knife which I'd buy, or illegal - it doesn't meter, I don't want to see "knife" in description and always told about it to seller. "Camping tool" - the best neutral description - I think so - and I have checked up it personally earlier repeatedly!
 
'Camping tool' is the wording that accompanies nearly all of my packets that are sent to me from the USA or elsewhere. It is not dishonest or inaccurate, knives are often used for hikes,picnics,outdoor activities. We all know this, and as knife enthusiasts we should all understand the phobia and misinformation with which some people approach our hobby! Try labeling a tiny packet containing a lowly Rough Rider slipjoint as 'Edged Weapon' and see if THAT gets through any Customs in the world or indeed out of your country without it being opened and you facing a rigmarole! It COULD be an edged weapon after all. I've had people in the USA say they can't sell me binoculars as they COULD be regarded as military equipment and therefore possibly compromising national security....
 
for me Camping tool is also the only way. knifes are scary weapons for many many people ,
camping / kitchen tools how ever is still socially accepted

for the American Neeh sayers, when was the last time you have taken a flight ?
 
Gosh continues to deflect from the real known factual issues at hand. So, appears to me that these knives are legal - nice try though. If gosh did get a refund - of which I am doubtful - have never seen PP award both parties money - gosh should pay Savic the remainder owed as he now has the cash to do it. Looks like that way gosh is only out half the value of the knife instead of all and Savic is whole. Could have been much worse for gosh. I for one will never deal with gosh because it's obvious he is not willing to abide by the forum code and make it right when he was in error on several points.

Prior to shipping Ukraine law require a letter in order to own this knife does it not? Are you still claiming that you received some money from paypal? for the 5th time Have you checked with customs?
