Please Mr. Russell do not let him have a table at the Blade show. He is a disgrace to this business and his grandfathers legacy! And he should not be given more opportunities to steal from people!

I have no control over the Blade Show, that is put on by the Blade Magazine.

The A. G. Russell Knife Even 2009 is primarialy a Custom Knife Show with the manufactures that are featured in our catalog and website displaying in booths around the sides. There is no room for a dealer like Andrew honest or dis-honest in that knife event.

Yup, once he is confronted he turns yellow and runs. Guess he can't face the fact of owning up and actually doing what he states. The only thing he wants to make right is his bank account.:barf:

I`m still waiting since March 08 for a knife from Andrew Kunz.
I fully understood that the Emerson Comrade is maybe on backorder, but I offered to take another knive instead or to give me a refund.
I paid 265 Dollars and really trusted him, because of two other deals before.
Waited much too long, the Paypal buyersprotection only holds for 45 days.
Living in Germany, I guess chances are low to get a knife or the money back.
Wrote mail after mail. Now I dont even get an answer.
The only thing happening were e-mails like : "Hi buddy, what can I do for you ?" or "I`ll get back to you".
Looks like thats funny to him, when someone asks for something thats already paid.
Nearly 6 months is a long time. He dont want to send me anything.
I`m so angry leaving this guy the money for nothing.

I really would like to get me the money back, but Im living much too far away.

Would be grateful for any advices.

I dont understand why all you guys dont make a prosecution at the policedepartment or ask a lawyer.

Most of you are living in the USA.

Over here in Germany that would be no problem.

This case would go into court in a very short time.

At the moment Im trying to find out, what a international lawyer or a lawyer in the states can do for me.

Im in Canada.....it would cost too much $$$ to try to do something...dont worry...what goes around comes around...he will have something bad happen to him soon....

I ordered a Microtech from him Thursday and communication with him as been outstanding so far. He said he shipped it yesterday, and when I checked the site it did say it was shipped..So I will probably get it Tuesday, due to the holiday and all..But I will keep you all posted....I ordered the knife before I found this thread..But hopefully all will go well...I will update when I recieve the knife...

Hi, this is my experience with Andrew Kunz.

He answered my initial emails very quickly. When I ordered 2 knives from his website - before reading this Forum, unfortunately - the last page confirming my order gave an error message. I became suspicious about the quality of the site, and wrote an email to him, saying that I'd want to cancel my order. Though he had answered every email previously very quickly, he didn't answer that one. Now I am uncertain whether my order actually went through, and what he will do if it did. In any case, I'll try to get my credit card company to block any transfer to him.

By the way, he is using a web shopping system called ProStores (http://www.prostores.com). That company has quite strict rules about fraudulent conduct and the like. It might be a possibility to direct complaints to ProStores.

Andrew Kunz?
Hi all, this is my first post here. I had to sign up to add my experience of this trader.
Hi Andrew, if you're reading this.
I ordered a knife way back in February. Order Confirmation (No: E2726429DD) in case you're interested Andrew.
At first I was sent the wrong knife, which was returned. I then had 2 months of promises that the right knife would be sent next week. Always next week. Unfortunately I trusted him. By the time I contacted my credit card, it was too late. Too much time had passed for them to take action. So, here I am 7 months on and $109 worse off. I'm in the UK, paying a personal visit is out of the question.
I recieved a promotional email from him a short while ago. So I decided to email my experience to all the customers on his email list. Surprise, surprise. I've been inundated with emails from other unsatisfied customers that have been ripped off in a similar way. That's how I got the link to this forum, and why I'm here adding my story.
I gave up chasing the money back in June. But I'll continue to tell all who'll listen how bad a trader Mr Kunz is. He stole $109 from me, but it will cost him far more in lost future sales.
Andrew? If you want to make good on this, feel free to refund my money or send the knife. (order confirmation number is at the top of this post) I won't hold my breath while I wait.

I like how this clown keeps apologizing for ripping people off without specifically addressing the people here he screwed and then puts the transaction back in their corner asking all of them to come forward to tell him who they are so he can try and make things right. :jerkit:

I can see why he calls himself "magicman" as he magically makes your money disappear.

Hey magic, who cares about your college or any of your other BS excuses. Take them all and shove it. I think you're nothing but a lieing, no good for nothing crook that has created a ponzie scheme/check lapping(robbing Peter to pay Paul) fraud business, via internet knife sales.

Sure, some customers get their stuff. That tactic is what creates a benefit of doubt mentality about your true intentions in the minds of folks you keep lieing to and stealing from. In my opinion, your whole business is a never-ending lapping of new customers' payments while hoping old customers you ripped off will continue to buy your BS excuses regarding their orders which you were paid along time ago for. That way you buy some time to try and make a few of them whole as you continue to take money from new customers and use some of it to fill old orders and pocket the rest. This fraud cycle just keeps repeating itself.......always the same lies claiming "its backordered" or that the "orders are lost in the mail".....yeah, right.:jerkit: This scam is one of the oldest frauds used in business.

Nice having interest free "loans" off of customer's backs, huh? Especially when you won't ever pay them back.

Another thing, who cares what your grandfather's reputation was. All you did with his business that he built, that you say you inherited, was to piss all over it and any quality reputation he may have created for it. Of course, If you did inherit it, how could you understand a thing about what it takes to build a reputable business or how to properly treat his customers? If he had any class at all, he must be rolling over in his grave.

Personally, I'm glad your address is made public and I hope someone who you screwed arranges to have a nice "person to person" discussion with you in the near future preferably when you least expect it.

Add me to the list of people he ripped off. He owes me a Benchmade Pen which I paid for via paypal. I too waited for too long before filing a complaint.

From his website:

Yes,We have changed our front page and layouts, but we are still the same company with amazing prices and even better customer service.

Well, it could hardly get worse, now could it?

wow, the list is really building up. Is Andrew Kunz hall of shame material yet? Id really like to see everyone get their knives or money.

Man, this guy's really walking a tight rope. All it takes is one pissed off customer to snap, and I'm seeing more and more people snap over the smallest things. In this day and age, you can't afford to screw around with people's money buddy. Give the cashola back or send 'em out already.

Andrew, where's all that indignation now? Why aren't you here answering to people? Looks like your posts in this thread were just a bunch of hot air.

Hi all. Since I posted here yesterday I've been Inundated with emails from other customers of Mr Kunz. Most telling of similar rip offs, some telling me what a good chap he is. So I decided to email his entire customer base again and give them the link to this thread on this forum. I hope some of them will take the time to post their experiences. Here's the content of the email:

Hi all. Just a quick update.
I wrote to all of Andrew Kunz's cutomers a couple of days ago to let them know he had ripped a few people off. Since then I've been inundated with replies from other customers who have suffered the same fate.
Along with those replies was a link to a US knife forum where more victims of Andrews bad business practises have been complaining, and getting some limited feedback from Andrew as he tries to lie his way out of his obligations. Here's the link.

Please feel free to read the thread, and maybe register at the site and add your experiences. It seems Andrew Kunz has been ripping people off all over the globe. You may never get your knives or your money back. But you can let the knife collecting community know exactly how dishonest Andrew is.
My username at that forum is Taxi_Driver. You can find my post on page 6 of the thread.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I look forward to reading some of your posts on the forum.

Once, I ordered two knives from Mr. Kunz to be sent to my home country Germany.
It was my second or third order. I do not remember for how much money i ordered before that.

I wanted first class "insecure" mail a sthese two folders where not very valuable.
They never arrived. We corresponded on the incident several times. he always replied, though i had to force the matter quite a bit.
After a few weeks we decided the knives were lost.
Mr. Kunz offered "to even things out somehow".
I proposed to order another knife and have him pay the shipping to germany.
King Salomon.
The knife arrived shortly thereafter. That was in June. No postage for me.
So far my experience.

ps : .... to those who live in the UK and Italy : Do not blame Mr. Kunz for your freakish CUSTOMS! Especially in your countries your authorities are berserk and you know it. I am not saying that Mr. Kunz drank from the holy water, but check with your authorities first. There might be a happy bandsaw or a grinning custom agent out there with your property.
