I had some trouble with Mr. Kunz myself, but at least I eventually got my knife.

I paid extra for Priority shipping and it took about two weeks to get to me (FL to AR)! During our correspondence regarding where my package was, he blamed the post office, PayPal label printing, other customers, and the college that he attends for me not having my package.

I told him I was dissatisfied, but I only left him neutral feedback since I did actually get the knife. He, of course, responded with neutral feedback although I had haid within five minutes of using the "Buy It Now" option. To add insult to injury, he didn't even justify the feedback, he just put in an add for his website! I looked through his feedback history and he left negative or neutral feedback for everyone who left him negative or neutral feedback.

Does anyone else notice that he seems to especially be defrauding people in other countries, who would have less legal recourse?

I have to wonder if he is paying his way through college with this "business".

Mmh, maybe not a legal issue, more of a "less likely to run into them at a knife-show" kind of thing.

In any case, Andrew, if you´re reading this, feel free to keep my money, I wouldn´t want it back from you anyhow, because I´d probably end up with either cash or goods that actually belong to somebody else you ripped off.

Do me just one favour, go to your bathroom and take a long, hard look in the mirror. Then realize that you´re looking at a thief. If that doesn´t fix you up, you´re a lost cause...

Here's some light on Andrew Kunz.
He is banned from eBay and PayPal, not for selling illegal knives but for FRAUD.
I recently got an email from another buyer about Andrew. I followed up and the list of literaly hundreds started appearing. From all over the world. People like you and me who paid and got nothing!!!
Not for lack of trying. I paid for my knives twice(dumb ass) after chasing the lies of Kunz for months and dozens of emails and that many excuses.
It sounds like a few people have the 'Authoriries' after Andrew. Maybe that's why he hasn't responded? Awww too bad little Andy
HE IS A THIEF!
HE DESERVES A LIFE LONG REPUTATION AS ONE!
I'm happy for all those who actually recieved what they paid for but just because you were lucky, doesn't mean you should support him in light of sooo many who have been ripped off.

Just another idea to get Little Andy out of business if anyone has the time ability to contact Pro Stores who manages his web site greatknivesgreatprices.com
and let them know about Andy as they deal thru eBay and PayPal and have certain Fraud Policies and may not want him as a client?

If this jerk-off sociopath really is in college, I wonder what the dean of his university's business school would say if he/she was contacted and told to read this thread.

With today's huge emphasis on business ethics in all colleges throughout the country, they may just kick him out of their business program.

Hi from Warsaw, Poland
I was a client of Mr Andrew Kunz and I bought a few knives from him. At the
beginning it worked fine, he sold me some good quality folders for quite
reasonable prizes. Some pieces I was buying also paying him directly with
paypal and not using ebay - he offered better prices in this way. But it
always took a while to receive the parcels. About one and a half year ago I
received two spyderco knives (chinook and copilot - worth together about
200$) which very bad quality - chinook was partially dull and copilot had a
major imperfection on the blade. I sent them back to him and he confirmed he
received them and promised to replace them. In the meantime I paid him for a
set of Spyderco kitchen knives yang and ying - another 100$. I did not
receive any of these four knives. When I wrote emails to Mr Kunz, he always
replied that knives are on the way. Because the whole transaction including
returning took so long it was already to late to fill the paypal claim, when
I realized that I was beeing cheated.
(I was buying stuff from many other sellers and I always received the
parcels, so I don't think that it was a problem with delivery).

To summarize: Mr Kunz ows me about 300$ , I will certainly never buy any
stuff from him anymore and I would strongly discourage anyone to risk any
transactions with this person or his company.

Now I see that I was not the only "happy customer" of Mr Kunz.

Anybody have an idea, if he really is a college student, which college? Some would definitely be willing to consider this information in allowing to remain a student.

all da best,
rats...

Here's a quote from him below.

If he's telling the truth, I'm pretty sure the University of South Florida would be very interested hearing about one of their own student's who has crossed major ethical lines of conduct and has deliberately employed fraud tactics in his own business. It would definitely be in the school's best interest to cut this guy loose if they new about his behavior.

Yes, I am a college student at University of South Florida, trying to get my bachelors in Business Administration, with a minor in Communications. .

I was one of the people that were on mr. Kunz promotional list that Taxi_Driver mentioned on the page 6 of this discussion. So here's my story.

I've bought a knife from him on eBay. I didn't noticed in the description of the item that it was a "pre-order", not "in-stock" item, so when Andrew pointed that out - I agreed to wait. The item was paid by me on the 14th of November, in the item description it was clearly stated that the knife will be available and will ship out before Christmas. Well, I wasn't in a hurry.

Knife wasn't shipped at all.

In e-mail discussion Mr. Kunz gave me three different shipping dates, but every time something happened and the dates were changing. Knives were "in due soon", "arriving this Friday" and so on. In the end I said that I don't want to have business with him and I want a refund because he broke the terms of the deal - as I said before, the item description said that the knife will be shipped out before Christmas, and it wasn't. Andrew refunded my payment, but it was less for $45. eBay and PayPal deadlines passed, so I couldn't do anything with that. My e-mail messages about this $45 were ignored.

As I can see from this thread - it could be worse.

It's good that he's banned from eBay and PayPal now.

On 2/19/08, i won 2 Kershaw Tyrades. I immediately paid him, "This email confirms that you, XXXX, have paid magicman133 $409.55 USD using PayPal."

On 2/27/08, i sent him an email when will he ship and he says he had a dozen and back ordered 15. (I thought if you sell something on eBay you have to have the item in stock?) "Not to worry they are due tomorrow."

On 3/4/08, I asked for my money back after waiting 2 weeks. I filed a dispute with paypal 3/6/08 and got refunded 3/7/08.

Sorry, to hear about the bad experiences. Bad apples ruin it for everyone. :thumbdn:

Those that have a complaint with him please document all your communication and contact the District Attorney's office for Tampa, Florida.

This Andrew guy is turning out to be a real piece of work. I hope the law some how gets involved, and this scumbag gets what is coming to him.

I ordered a Microtech from him Thursday and communication with him as been outstanding so far. He said he shipped it yesterday, and when I checked the site it did say it was shipped..So I will probably get it Tuesday, due to the holiday and all..But I will keep you all posted....I ordered the knife before I found this thread..But hopefully all will go well...I will update when I recieve the knife...

Ok, guys here is a update on my transaction, I called him tuesday and he said he had just shipped the knife (so his web site wasn't updated on the shipping) and that it should here Thursday. Today, (Thursday), I come home and there it was in my mailbox.. I opened it and it was NIB, it looked great, I couldn't be more happy with my transaction with Andrew..

I am sorry for you guys whos transactions didn't go right, that sucks... But I believe Andrew will make it right.. I can only speak from my own experience with him.. The communication was great, the shipping was fast, the Knife was perfect, and the price was good..

So all I can say is Andrew did me right... and believe me if he hadn't done me right I would blast him on here, HARD!!! I just think he has alittle more than he can handle but I believe he is trying..

Thanks Andrew, it was a pleasure doing business..

Well I snooped around on UFS's website but was unable to get into their student search function due to not having UFS credentials. Short of direct contact with the Dean of the Bus. Coll. I'm not sure how to verify Andrew as a student there.

Let's hope that he makes good on the others who were lied to and weren't so lucky with this guy. I doubt it, but we'll see, I guess.

From what I have seen, he owes a lot of people knives or money. Usually, when a company gets into the kind of situation that Andrew is in, it is very difficult to get out of.

hissatsu1,

that's good you got your stuff but to go on and on and praise the little jerk in light of sooo many others getting ripped off is like grinding salt into our wounds. So if you don't have anything bad to say , just shut up!

I am not grinding anything into your wounds... I do not have anything bad to say, like I said before, my transaction with Andrew was smooth, so I have nothing bad to say...I will leave it at that.. Good luck...;)
