Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

My wife and I celebrated our 33rd last night.
We are not "fancy people", our evening consisted of dinner at one of our local BBQ restaurants and going to a local high school football game. My wife is a high-up-muckety-muck in the school district, so we go to a lot of school events together in the evenings. But of course the football season is my favorite! But since it was such an occasion, I had a 'fancy' knife on me to celebrate in style...

Congratulations to you and the missus John, that sounds like a grand evening out my friend :)

Textile Cone & Tiger Cowrie. Modoc ED thanks for the idea.

@Bugs57 - I was stationed at NAVSECGRUDEPT/NAVCOMSTA Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean from April 1974 through April 1975 and did quite a bit of shelling. Here is one box of many boxes of shells that I have.

Since Diego Garcia had seen very little shelling, when I returned to NAVSECSTA in Washington, D.C., I took a sampling of 50 various shells to the Smithsonian, Museum of Natural History and gave them to the museum. They were happy to get them and I had an interesting talk with a couple of the curators there.

Great pics fellers :)

Good morning, Guardians!

Started the day with some spice. Also, Whataburger sausage and garlic cheese grits.

Looks like a good start to the day Vince

Lovely oldie Harvey, and a cool pic :)

Hope everyone is having a great day :) York turned out to be a good choice for a day out, not least since we escaped the rotten weather here in Leeds. Had a good look round the antique shops, some nice food, and even got a couple of pints in one of my favourite York pubs :)

There was a food festival on, and I picked up some nice bread, including a couple of types of focaccia, though it was actually made in Leeds ;)

Thank you, that's a nice photo and a nice bunch of arrowheads. I've never purposely hunted for them, but I used to find one from time to time.

It's supposed to rain today, and only get up to 96 degrees. :(
Maybe pictures from last year will bring the cold front:

In December it will be 24 years married for us.
We met for the first time in 1989, 30 years ago in December as well.
My family and I had just arrived as immigrants to Canada and her father ( he was the pastor of our church :) ) went to pick us us at the airport. On our way to our new home in Canada my future father in law said he had to pick up up her daughter at school first :) ..... well .... and the rest is history :)

cudgee cudgee is correct tea berry flavor is cinn & mint made by the Clark gum company which also produces reeds roll candy. A roll of hard candy like lifesavers that is individually wrapped
Thanks for the info. Perhaps you know the answer: What the heck is "teaberry" flavor? :p

Hartshead and I are still waiting for Fall.
