Thanks Dennis, nice to see your horn Big 'Un my friend :)

Morning Guardians, miserable weather here in Leeds today, but I have plenty of things to do in the house, and enough provisions laid in to see me through I think ;) Wishing everyone a relaxing and restful Sunday

I have just been oiling some of my older Lambsfoot knives, but am currently have a coffee-break (not had this coffee before) :)

One of the knives in the group shot above is this Lambsfoot by James Howarth, which was gifted to me by knife maker Paul Mason, who had it as a boy. The background of the photo is a line drawing of Howarth's old works on Bath Street, Sheffield, the street my grandparents lived on

The colors and jigging are wonderful. I'm saving up to get one of those some day. Love the picture.

Thanks a lot Bill, Charlie and GEC did a great job I think, some of the best jigging they've done :)

Good morning Jack, and all the other Guardians!! Thanks for the your great pics, and especially of the Waynorth, Jack!! Bill did a great job on that knife!! WE had discussed a jigging that was different, and was going to be called "Flat-Cap Jig" but his experiments led to this one!
Looks like an interesting coffee, Jack!!

It must be truly wonderful to own a knife that somebody carried as a young boy. Having it come from a knife maker, and that it probably influenced him greatly, is twice as wonderful. What a keepsake.

I will join you both in carrying my WCLF today...

Morning Charlie, thank you. I remember our discussions about it of course my friend. It would be nice to see that flat cap jigging someday, but this is spectacular, I think GEC are doing the best jigging in the business, and don't really see any competition

Yes, a new one to me, but very enjoyable :) As is this one ;)
