Jack Black I’m glad you made it to Whitby, and that you didn’t have to stand the whole train ride. I hope you have a great weekend!

I’ve got my in-laws in town this weekend, and the girls thought we needed to take them back to the giant candy store (probably because they knew they could talk their grandparents into buying them even more candy). Without having to keep up with both kids myself, I was able to look a little closer and this time I found the Curly Wurlies!

I see a flake bar down there!!! Mmmm. Nothing beats a chunk of Cadbury. Flake, crunchie, dairy milk, curly wurly.... It's all good.

You can keep the fancy chocolate.

Thanks a lot Barrett! How thoughtful of the girls! Wow, that's more Curly Wurlies than I've seen in a long time! Are they bigger than the ones I sent last year, they certainly look it? Great pic mate! Hope you can get the girls to sleep tonight!

I did like the original flakes, that were twist wrap & not sealed you would have to try & open it without going everywhere

Pouring the chocolate crumbs down your Pie Hole out of the twist wrapper without them going everywhere was half the fun.

They were the smaller Curly Wurlies (and they were quite proud of them, but I bought a few anyways).

I don’t think the girls will have any trouble sleeping. We’re at a Twins game right now, and there are going to be fireworks afterwards. They’ll probably crash on the drive home.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is keeping well, and that you have something planned for the weekend, even if it's just kicking back with a couple of beers, and/or watching the TV 6am here, and I'm just enjoying a cup of Yorkshire tea, with a few Hobnob biscuits. It's raining outside, again, and is forecast to continue all day, with thunderstorms likely later. Got to be the worst summer we've had in a long time In a couple of hours, I'll be going out for breakfast. I noticed that a place nearby does a potato hash for breakfast, so I might give that a try Have a great day Guardians

Walking sticks can be another journey down the rabbit hole wood, horn, carbon & aluminium all that is missing is a blade.
The weekend is 1/2 over 5.14pm Saturday. I have had a pleasant 2hrs+
In the garage cleaning & honing knives & listening to the migty Jethro Tull.

Yeah, I have quite a few myself, and got into making them during the various lockdowns here. I usually sit outside to make them, but with the constant rain this summer, I haven't made one If you search within this thread, you'll find quite a few pics Mitch. That sounds like a pleasant Saturday afternoon

Got my hash, ok, would have benefited from some sourdough toast, and a couple of sausages, instead of the avocado. The best thing I've had here is their hot Bloody Mary sauce. Rain is bouncing outside, so I might order a pot of tea
