A perfectly cooked hot mushroom is just as "unpleasant"! 🤮

We got the best breakfast here in south Texas: Tex-Mex. Going to pick up some taquitos from a Mexican restaurant in a little while. Mine will be potato and egg a la Mexicana (with peppers, onion, and tomato) and a refried beans and bacon. Yum, yum! With Mexican pan dulce and strong black coffee.

It's a looker Steve 😊 I've just been packing my bags for when I leave in the morning. Going to be a long journey, and I'm looking forward to being back home 👍

I went for a stroll on the cliffs with Lucy, then walked to a bar I've been in a few times, trying not to drop too far down the hill. I ended up having to walk a bit further as my first 2 choices were closed for some reason. I might just have this one, and then head back to finish off the rest of my whiskey ;)

I blew the transmission in my pickup in Illinois ~25 years ago over Valentine's Day weekend so, spent a lovely 3 days in a random roadside hotel. When things opened up on Monday, I struggled into a transmission shop and wander down the road on foot. Ended up in a random restaurant and had some Huevos Rancheros that were so good I still remember them today! Simply stunning!

Tex-Mex breakfast options here in Texas are generally very good if you avoid the fast food chains. 😉
