Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I'm looking forward to that, so hope the various baggage handlers, and ATC disputes, and the transport strikes in the Canaries, are over by then

I hear there's less fuss if you rent a private jet!

I worked at a place once that was so horrible, I realized I was wishing 5/7 of my life away.

That's great

Scary how old a recent movie can be.

Happy Birthday to Prester John Prester John and cudgee cudgee 🎉👍

Good morning Guardians, nice to see all these birthdays :) Hope everyone has had a decent week, and that you have something to look forward to at the weekend :) I haven't had a good night's sleep all week! Maybe that's part of getting old too 🥱 In marked contrast to yesterday, it's wet, cold, and windy here today, and I still haven't got my winter togs out of storage. Time to put away my summer shirts, half of which never even got worn, at least until I go away to the Canaries at Christmas ;) I'm looking forward to that, so hope the various baggage handlers, and ATC disputes, and the transport strikes in the Canaries, are over by then  I have some errands to run in town, so I'm going to head down to Charlie's in a bit, for some fuel! :D Hoping I can put some Waboom in my step! ;) Have a good one Guardians

Jack, I hope your sleep cycle can get back on track. Have you ever tried taking a benadryl before bed ? It works wonders for me when I'm sleepless.

Waboom looking awesome as always !

Hi everyone, a quick note to all. Thanks for your thoughts and all is well.
In at 7am and back in car at 11am. Already using my hotrod walker and off to therapy.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Looking good Jer  I'm surprised we don't see them more often in the EDC thread. Do you find you use the Clip much?

Thanks Steve, I haven't, but Covid had me sleeping like a tot! 🥱😁

How's everyone doing? I've been to town, and got most of my missions accomplished, but before that, I called in at Charlie's. The cafe was packed, and the Italian couple holding the fort were struggling, not least since they only speak a few words of English. I was just speaking to an American guy, and waiting for my coffee, when half a dozen middle-aged guys walked in. All were smartly, and almost identically, dressed, with long black coats. I wasn't sure if they were the Salvation Army or the Cosa Nostra! They turned out to be pallbearers, and had been given 20 minutes away, to go and get a bacon sandwich and a coffee, while a funeral service was going on in the church just up the road. I was too close to take a snap at the counter, but when they sat down, I asked if I might take a couple. Then, half the cafe wanted their photos taken! I might go down with my SLR and a tripod next time! :D

They turned out to be pallbearers,
My first guess, even though they're missing part of the Monty Python rig.

Not a lot. I have to think about the clip to use it. The pinchable lambsfoot is more salient and easier to open.

None of them had hats, so they might have left them in the church, or in the hearse. When I was at a funeral the other week, I saw one or two top-hats in evidence, but the pallbearers actually wore matching caps

I suspected that might be the case. A shame GEC don't just do another Lambsfoot, or make one for Charlie

Bear and Sons would be more my speed. I can't see Utica doing a lambsfoot; they're down to two traditional folders, last I knew. I might spring for one at Case prices. A Rough Ryder lambsfoot is overdue, it seems to me.

Happy birthday guys! I'll toast you two tonight. 🤛
Thanks, guys! Have to work today, but will probably leave a little early--wife is making shrimp piccata for dinner, with zucchini on the side, sautéed in garlic and olive oil, and my daughter is baking me a lemon cake. Got some Italian wine, too. Can't wait to get home!
Wishing everyone a great weekend!

These Chinese-made Outdoor Edge knives were sold here as Lambsfoot knives, though the spine and edge are parallel
