Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks Jack! I'm glad to be back! And boy-howdy you're right about things moving FAST!!
Yes Ken, the Guardians have been going for it recently! :D
When I was a kid and a teenager I used to have my hair thinned at the hairdresser because it was so thick. They used to always comment โ€œyouโ€™ll never go baldโ€. Then toward the end of high school - would have been 17 1/2 - I started having a heap of hair falling out in the shower. 33 and Iโ€™m bald, no matter I got a ring of the girlfriend (near 8 years married) so she canโ€™t get away. No need for looks anymore!
Sorry to hear that Jack, at least it's not an issue for you mate, same as my pal Wolfie, he shaves his head every day, and his missus loves him to bits :D
Todays carry and slip.

I look on the bright side, GEC like to release knives with a comb so I get to save money whenever they do!

Now if they did a lamb with a combโ€ฆ well I might have to grow a beard!

I found this one near Dilley, TX a few years back. I canโ€™t confirm itโ€™s a Tortuga but that is what it looks like to me. Itโ€™s the only complete Atlatl point Iโ€™ve found as a surface collector. It may be another typology that was chipped down from its original form. I love finding these fragments of another time. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

I'm carrying Valley Jack, my 2019 desert ironwood Guardians Lambsfoot this week as my Lambsfoot of the Week. Here are mark and pile photos from February 2019, when Valley Jack was new.

One of the characteristics of Ironwood is how much it darkens with carry and use. They can end up looking like Ebony. I'm sure a lot of people who buy an Ironwood with age think it's Ebony if they don't know it is Ironwood. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
