I have a couple of blades from Wauseon that have these exact same lines on the finish. In the exact same spot, and on both sides of the blade.Jerry,
I if push came to shove I can live with those dimples if they were DC.But what in the world are those deep vertical grind marks? Those things are typically deeper than the dimples and a real pain to remove.

Some of these "vertical grind marks" (as you call 'em), you can see right through the crinkle coat, and some that you could only see after the finish was stripped completely off and down to bare steel...![]()
Me too. I had a Dog Father that had those marks on both sides of the ricasso, They almost looked like lightning bolts. Pretty cool. I haven't stripped my present Dog Father yet to see if it has them too.
