This may be true, but the NRA had a horrible golden egg tragedy laying in their lap and all they did was break it all over their own faces. Pedro North couldn't even have frost them as well. The most abused, most neglected, most ignored group of people in this country are the mentally ill, and the best NRA can do is say we need armed guards in every school, while only offering a soundbite about the travesty Reagan created by first truly tightening the noose on mental health funding? Please. I know it seems like a lot of people are losing their mags and guns in boating accidents right now... i wish the entire NRA board of directors and PR dept would fall off the ship too.

Just ordered ten more gen 3 pmags.
 
Do you honestly believe that there's going to be an end to all this? They could just as easily say anyone caught with a magazine over 10 rounds is subject to a felony etc......the possibilities are endless. That's why I say throw some money at an organization that lobbies for our rights and strikes some type of fear into our legislators.

Went for the 3 year NRA membership last week.

$70 well invested.

Much better than buying a Pmag.

The NRA is going to need financial support to represent our interests.

Otherwise we can kiss it all good bye.
 
I saw a bid of $100.00 on the bay for a 20 round .308 mag. That's just an unbelievable price. They must be hard to come by.
 
Midway USA is also accepting backorders at normal prices. Says they'll have them end of January/beginning of February. Let's hope so.
 
Keep this thread out of the political side of things please. It would be a shame to have to lock it...
 
I imagine picking up repair kits would be a good idea as well as the back ordered magazines. It will be interesting to see what happens if you have a crack or something occur in your PMAG after the ban. I don't know if they would be able to repair it or if you are out of luck. They have always been great with customer service, but just had this random thought.
 
I saw a listing on there selling INFORMATION on where to backorder Pmags. The information was $5 w/free shipping. What a nice guy.:barf:
 
I know. Someone paying these prices almost makes me wonder about their mental state and intentions. I wonder if how I feel about someone paying this price is how Cold Steel folks feel about us Busse folks?:D

If I recall correctly, the NRA got that provision put in the assault weapons ban.

And to stay on topic a little, what the heck is a "pmag?" That's a new one to me. Guess I've been living under a rock lately as far as guns go.

was thinking of doing the same when I saw those mags sell for so much... but I'm on the fear hype myself... Been trying to stock up on a couple stripped lowers, but EVERBODY is sold out online... been crazy hard to find anything! And hows about Polymer lowers, they were $100 a pop, now they've doubled!

Fear Mongering is where it's at... I think I'm in the wrong profession!
