A great looking knife Sunnyd, you don't have anymore of those crates lying around do you..:D

With the passing of Frank Buster this week your knife is very fitting way of honoring his genius as a knife designer..

As a matter of fact I have been unpacking several old crates that I packed up some time ago..

But hey Sunburst, where did you hear about old cuz passing??. I missed that one and would be interested in hearing about the details.. Man he will be missed!:(

This is another fine knife S-K but IMO still doesn't hold a candle to that beautiful old victorian style smokers knife that you may want to sell to me someday in my wildest dreams..;) :D

BTW, I LOVE THIS THREAD!

Thank-you Sunnyd. You just never know. You are top of the list when the day comes. I'm looking for one for you.

Here is the information regarding his funeral arrangements for Frank Buster:

My first pearl - and it just arrived. While waiting its arrival, I've tried to read all I could on pearl. But I still have not found whether it will survive pocket carry? Knowing there are no absolutes, how resistent is pearl to damage? It is very hard for me not to carry my knives, and I'd like to carry this one...but its kinda almost too purdy and I am concerned over how fragile pearl is...

BTW - nice thread! :D

You ask, "How resistant to damage is MOP"?.

I would have to ask: What do you do for a living?. Or, What do you do in your everyday life?

Most MOP is pretty darn tuff so I would say to you: If you take care of the knife you will be fine.

Man 2toes & Nukemkb that is some outstanding pearl on those knives..Oh yeah the knives are nice also...;) :)

Thanks for sharing and making me drool..

MOP is generally fairly tough, and should stand up to daily use. However, all that comes to an end if you were to drop it or subject any form of impact to it.
